I think it's about boycotting America in order to weaken the Trump government. Just like some people did with Apartheid South Africa. Contributing to the US economy only helps the current administration.
Thousands of UK youngsters keen to experience the delights of Disney might not see it like that.

I actually can’t think of anything I have or buy that is American, but yes will avoid buying stuff from the land of the crazies.
your computer and phone, anything with a chip will have USian products.
