Maybe because when he does come on he really does not seem interested at all, if you want to prove yourself to the gaffer play your heart out when bought on give Gus a difficult decision but he does give Gus a easy one really back on the bench. Just my opinion of course.

Seem to remember after Wolves away it was said that there was a bit of a disagreement in dressing room and everyone at time thought it was Crofts as he wasnt in squad the next game. That ended up being for family reasons so my guess is it was Dobbie as he hasnt had a look in really since then? He probably berated the defence for conceding after he had scored the late penalty.

If you don't weigh in with defensive work Gus will drop you, the difference in Lua Lua's game since his time out of the team being an example of a player who took a while but has come back a more complete player. From what little I've seen of Dobbie he doesn't do defending or fighting to keep the ball so even if he scores goals he ain't gonna get a regular place in the team. If Dobbie grasps this we may see more of him but I guess it's possible that Gus has given up on him..

I heard yesterday we are close to a deal with him . Two deals are very close with the dj one not looking likely ATM ( hull favourites ) I know a lot don't rate him but I think he could do a job for us , interesting if true .
