I heard yesterday we are close to a deal with him . Two deals are very close with the dj one not looking likely ATM ( hull favourites ) I know a lot don't rate him but I think he could do a job for us , interesting if true .

If true then Gus is a cock, but i doubt that it is true:albion2:

Maybe this means we are getting a 2nd striker in? Perhaps the Sebastian Fernandez transfer is indeed on?

Good stuff - works for us to get our highest wage earner off the payroll.

Could be on loan till the end of the season, with us paying 10% of his wages ( like the Bridge deal)

at 10% its more than you would normally pay when you go into administration. As you are in competition with us for a play off place I would think that Gus would insist on all or most of his wages being paid by you for a loan but push for a sale if he is surplus to our requirements.

We could do a permanent deal at a push, depends how desperate you are to cut your wage bill

Or perhaps that Dobbie is 'a cock'?

Or perhaps that none of us know what he is like in training?

Totally agree with this. None of us have a clue what's going on behind the scenes. He could potentially be a cancer to the squad, who knows. And if someone could impact the morale of the squad for the worse, no matter how talented, then they should go. I do recall him and Greer having some words walking off after the Wolves game. Both are from Glasgow - maybe something naughty was said? Or perhaps I'm reading too much into it; maybe he's a decent bloke and just hasn't had a fair crack of the whip.

We could guess until the day is long.

Not that desperate I wouldn't think. It must be remembered that Bridge is on £90k a week at City so his wage was out of the question in Dobbies case probably less than 1/4 of that so not quite so diffidult to pay.

£30 k ? Are you sure ? We would pay no where near that and I would hope you wouldn't .

Indeed. Clearly every club wants as low a wage bill as possible, but I'd be astounded if we were 'desperate'. I would think realistically a loan to a championship side would be for 100% wages.

I wouldn't be surprised if it happened in the loan window though. That way he could be recalled and available for any playoff matches.
