"Dobbie told he can leave"

Desperate deadline day 'we must get a striker in' signing.
Not really worked out.
Largest earner at the club.
New striker in who will get a lot of game time.

"Off you trot Dobbie" makes some sense, I think.

how do you know he is the biggest earner?

Never understood why he hasn't done better for us. Ah well. Life goes on.

Is the correct answer. He's 5th choice behind CMS, Ulloa, Barnes and Hoskins (possibly even Buckley and Vicente too)

Feel a bit sad for the bloke - never had many opportunities. Had always hoped to see him play more with CMS.
Must now be 5th in line and probably wont even get on the bench.
A move would be good for him but hopefully not detrimental to us.
If he links up successfully with Murray Palace could be filling one of those playoff spots.

Can we all honestly put our hands on our hearts and say we have seen enough of him to be able to judge him. Scored a vital winner v Posh and a bloody good pen at Wolves. Apart from that, it has been fleeting and frustrating. He is a better player than a lot on here are making out.

We only play with one striker Dobbie seems unable to play up front on his own even more so than CMS so really he was a completely pointless signing hence him being left out of the squad completely now and I expect he rues the day he signed for us instead of Blackpool.

I imagine him and Murray would be perfect strike partners unfortunately but at the moment he's just a waste of wages for us.

Bit harsh really, he's came here and been left out the starting 11 every week and been subbed on 2 or 3 times yet everyone's getting on his back. People expect to much from him.

Although he's good player, I couldn't really understand why we signed him as he was not really the type of player we needed.

Maybe because when he does come on he really does not seem interested at all, if you want to prove yourself to the gaffer play your heart out when bought on give Gus a difficult decision but he does give Gus a easy one really back on the bench. Just my opinion of course.

But seems a shame nevertheless, he showed some nice touches, little round the corner flicks and did score twice in what was very limited pitch time. I dont blame him if he is trying to engineer a move, it hasnt worked out, but like a lot of you say about Barnes, he is playing out of position really, he isnt an out an out striker, he is a support striker/attacking m/f.

The difference is that Barnes applied himself and has adapted to a different role. Dobbie hasn't really had the chance to prove he can do that, or hasn't shown the aptitude to in training. The support striker/attacking m/f role is Orlandi's to lose at the moment and right now if you were to ask me who I would want in the role out of Orlandi, a hopefully fit again Vicente or Dobbie, Dobbie would be last on that list every time.

I feel sorry for the guy, could be decent, but never the player we were looking for, if CMS goes i'd like to see him stay. at the moment though i think will go, him and barnes are too similar, barnes does a better job out wide.

I'm a Hoskins fan, but i think he will be the one who leaves before the end of Jan.

I don't mind if Palace take him off our hands. He's not looked great for us; the chances are that he's not going to make much of a difference to them. This is different to the Murray scenario. He was very good for us, just a bit of a tw@t.
