What a tool. How could he be so stupid as to slag off his team mates in any situation, let alone whilst sitting on the bench near the manager! It seems that he only ever does anything after being dropped, he always seems to make more effort and make a return. At present he is not good enough and needs a reality check.

Little spoilt brat, Leon Cox needs a McGhee backhand. I like him when on form but whens that ever gonna happen? He isn't what we all thought he was gonna be simply because a) Too small b) Too inconsistant and c)Too big headed.
Isn't that quite similar to a little mouthy striker who used to play for us?
All these rumours of what he did last sat don't tell the whole story, I reckon DW got pissed of with the time it took him to get off the pitch when we were looking to equalise. He dosen't seem to care for the club like other products eg Adam improved El-abd and Tommy die-hard Elphick.
I'm not a fan of Bowditch on the right or the left as i think its clear he needs to be up-front. Im sure when Dixon was signed we were told he can play on the wing as well as up-frot? if so give it a go.

He's never been the most discaplined bloke, even at school. I'm not surprised really.

I didn,t count his number of set pieces on Saturday, but I know there were quite a number, and all with a big fat zero result. He may have caught the Leon Knight virus. Should be made to write out 100 times, "I am not the star of the show"

Coxs Future Is Under A Cloud (from The Argus)</title>

Cox's future is under a cloud

Dean Cox's Albion future is under a cloud after he was axed from the squad for disciplinary reasons for the second time in three months.

The feisty little playmaker watched Tuesday's 4-2 home win over Gillingham from the North stand.

Cox was punished for the way he acted after being substituted in the second half of Saturday's 1-1 draw against Leyton Orient at Withdean.

Remarks made by Cox about some of his team-mates while sitting on the bench prompted his omission against Gillingham.

Boss Dean Wilkins refused to go into details. He said: "It is a disciplinary issue that will remain in-house."

Asked if Cox will be available for Saturday's trip to Carlisle, Wilkins said: "We'll have to see how we go but at the moment he is not involved."

Cox was dropped from the squad at Swindon in December following a dressing room bust-up in the previous game against Nottingham Forest.

Cox is in the squad for Wednesday's Sussex Senior Cup semi-final for Albion reserves against Lewes at Bognor (7.45pm).

When the last dwarf we had here, who's now moved on, had a similar reaction on being substituted it was the manager who got the flak, how fans attitudes change with a modicum of success:lol:

I see your point, but it's such a different situation altogether. Genuinely aggrieved player who's not been given the backing of his manager, and left to rot while a clown takes his place v. arrogant twat with inflated sense of importance and talent. I don't think we need to question the character of the first player, but Cox needs to grow up or f*** off.

You're a card, you are.

From what i've heard there isn't that much difference between Michel and Cox. Michel throws his toy's out of the pram regularly, it's in his nature, it's one of the reasons that a number of our managers have been tempted to get rid of him.
Michel has an ego the size of a small planet, added to that he is a goalkeeper so it is unsurprising that he blows his top every so often.

Youi need to get you head out of Michel arse and join the real world.

Cox is young, inconsistant, and has had a number of bigger clubs sniffing around. Like a lot of kid's he has total belief in himself, and as such when things don't go his way the toy's exit stage left.

I've spoken to both of them and found them very approachable and pleasant, neither came over as big headed. Infact, Cox reminds me of a guy I suprivised from Surrey Uni who was an excellent student but was prone to the occasional lapse and when that happened he'd loose it. I would either take him to one side and sympathise, or tell to f**k off and grow up depending on the situation, something that DW seems to do.

I suspect that Cox will go throw life chcuking his toy's out of the pram .... just like Michel.

HHHMMM Dean Cox when subbed walked off the pitch very slowly when we were eager to get an equalizer, once off the pitch rumour has it he started slagging off his fellow team mates in front of the bench and staff. Michel is more remembered for going 'over the top' when sorting out his defense. IMO i can't see how these two are even comparable in attitude, Leon Shite is the obvious comparison

Wasn't it 0-0 when he was subbed, or is this another game?

It was. Orient scored their goal after his substitution.

Cox is named in the reserves Sussex Senior Cup semifinal at Bognor tonight against Lewes.

OOOOOOOOOO I love a witch hunt.

Can we drive him out to another club?

Christ, he has been poor this season but the kid has got skill - Just needs a rest/taken down a peg or two.

Last night I asked someone who works for the club why Cox wasn't playing, he answered, "Because he is a little turd". (Not really fair for me to say who said that)

Sorry to say this but my view is either he is being badly managed or his ego is too big and there is not room in the club for both.
