I think Chris Hughton was a great manager who had done a fantastic job but the team had reached the end of the line, the cycle was over and probably more importantly TB had decided on a different model moving forward. Potter may or may not be a better in game manager but he does have a good track record of developing players and improving them. For all his good points I don't see Chris as that sort of coach, he's more of a man manager and tactical coach.
The move to DA and the Academy set up dictates a different sort of coach and that is what we went for. I will always have a huge respect for CH but it was time for a change of direction...
