Stunned to see the news about Sonny Colbrelli this morning. I watched the race but turned off as soon as they crossed the line - fingers crossed he makes a full recovery.

Same here...He's my favourite rider and after he got pipped yesterday I thought he did well after his illness...

Is that him done now as a Pro rider if he makes a full recovery ? Hope he does a 'Christian Eriksen' though cycling way different to football obviously

Elisa Balsamo doing the rainbow jersey proud.

And she looks like what I imagine a healthy Amy Winehouse would have looked like. :(

Shit on it.

Today I Learned I also own a lean to shed, a proper shed and a glasshouse.

In keeping with the rest of my newish to me house, they've not been touched for years and need burning to the ground.

That said this was in the full sized shed

Oh FFS.

I've just just spent half an hour absentmindedly costing tyres tubes etc.

I've now stumbled into a YouTube vid of a bloke converting his £5 garage find with BMX components.

Despite having 2/3ers of a house to renovate.
A garden that's shot to bits.
About to change jobs.
Supporting the Albion.

I've decided to throw all that out of the window because I NEED 20 inch MAG wheels on my Stratton Folding Bike.

I had a purple one of these with working dynamo lights, rack and white box/bag. I adorned it with pink throbnozzle racing stickers and used it as my pit bike @ LeMans Classic in 2010 . . . . . some ******* nicked it from the back of the pit lane garages.

I've completely disassociated from all the work that needs doing and am currently stripping The Strat right back to basics in order to convert it to a hybrid FoldingBMX bike.

A bike neither me or the world needs right now.

Good work

I have a perfectly servicable hand made JOhn SPooner racer at home but its a bit too racy for old git commuting so today I 'accidentally' procured a 1984 CLaud Butler 531 touring frame and forks to refinish and rebuild with all the bits from the racer. . . Well, the intention is to re deploy bits . . .I may accientally acquire some others.

Headsets and bottom brackets seem to be a bit of a minefield.A9F91D7A-A7C4-46BB-B5B7-3F455BA5B866.jpeg

I'm looking forward to seeing this project unfold, Stat!

Don't hold your breath I have a tendency to get stuck on one small aspect at which point it'll rapidly find its way to the bike graveyard - currently my expansive cupboard under the stairs.
