Late coming to the inevitable Sussex relegation party but did not dream we would perform so poorly. Fancy putting in the Yorkies to bat first on their own pitch. One wonders what other misjudgements we will have to endure this summer. I blame Gus MacKay.

Don't you mean Robin Marlar? Nigel Bett and Alan Caffyn were doing a brilliant job before that clueless idiot staged a coup and deprived the club of the best managers it ever had. Sort of Dick Knight after Archer and Bellotti in reverse.

Clearly a long-sufferer WHS, commiserations - you are of course right that the rot set in at Hove long before the arrival of clueless Leicestershire reject Mackay and his private decking area...

edit: Delayed start. There is hope..!!!

meanwhile at Southampton, Leicestershire's opening pair demonstrate how it should be done - maybe Chris Nash could get some tips from his Horsham CC clubmate Thornely...?

Leicestershire 2nd Innings 0 for 0 (5.0 overs) - Following on

Runs Minutes Balls 4s 6s
Thornely not out 0 17 18 0 0
N O'Brien not out 0 17 12 0 0

Total 0 for 0 (5.0 ovs)

Uh-Oh, Triple Ton Bairstow is now at the crease with Hattie. Prepare to rewrite the record books.

Two dot balls for Bairstow, surely just the calm before the storm?

Hang on, it's not gale puns is it.
