OK you must believe what you believe. I will believe what I do until I am irrefutably proved wrong.

Well I've asked the club so hopefully we may be we will get an answer and finally clarify who is telling the truth.

why wait till jan

Maybe because Arsenal want to use their youngsters in early rounds of the league cup to give them experience against good opposition.

My last words on this subject that you continue to keep bringing up is that the club have said I was wrongly informed so unless anything to the contrary comes up we should accept that as the end of it. I do.

Mark McGhee is allegedly in London watching a game and Quincy Owusu-Abeyie has come off the bench and looked lively in his first five minutes. He has scored one so far.

Doesn't look like anyone else attack wise in the Arsenal team that we could have.

I'm afraid that the only reason Quincy Owusu-Abeyie in this country full stop is to play football with his long lost brother Lloyd who plays in a certain team just west of Arsenal. Lloyd and Quincy were separated as children following the marriage of Lloyd's Dad to Mrs Abeyie.

Hence there'll only be one club he's coming to I'm afraid.

New striker - what you want one of those for? Anyone would think you want to see a few goals and the albion avoid relegation - stop it now you know the club cant afford one

Watching the Burnley game myself and they have a couple of good players like Blake and some kid from Pompey. Think they could cause a few problems for us on the 20th which is a must win game in my book

Kid from Pompey is Duffy I presume. Looks like he could play his whole career without actually taking one of the numerous chances dished up to him ( So a hatrick against us no doubt).

Agree Blake looks a quality player in this division.

For fear of getting shouted down I feel that there has got to be some easing of the purse strings for a striker or some of the money that comes into the club must be diverted towards achieving that.

Everybody on here agrees that we need a new ground it goes without saying but in the immediate future getting in a striker is a priority. We cannot do anything about JPs decision now but we can about our league position.

Lets sort out our league position NOW and Falmer in JANUARY.

My thoughts exactly....January is a lifetime away. I'd like to see the team sitting fairly comfortably in the div come January...and not languishing at/near the bottom.

Another good post... and cue the repetitive moronic shouts "But we haven't got any money"... we need to divert SOME funds into acquiring a new striker, especially with McPhee definitely injured, and Virgs possibly injured for Sat...
