When you add up Rodgers, Blackwells and Lees money, deduct what Nicolas is on then if we cannot afford anyone on loan now it just shows how low the playing budget is.
Or the other solution is that players won't come and play for McGhee. Coppell had no problem getting in players on loan so why the hassle now ?

Maybe these foriegn youths do not understand his scottish accent? Or is it cos we are not willing to even pay their train fare down (especially now DK & MM have experinvced the delights of the rail service (did i write service!!!)).

"We have NO money for experienced players" so i assume from that we have some small change jangling about for inexperienced kids.

why wait till jan

Seeing as these babies played exceptionally well against a near full strength Everton side i assume that DKs plan is falling into place.

Unfortunately we will miss the bus (again) because the good press they are getting will mean that the attention of our feeder club, Reading, will be awoken and they will go to Mr Coppell, in time for DK to say "we had them lined up but a club with more funds came in at the last minute"

It was rumoured that Quincy Owusu Abeyie and 2 others from Arsenal are coming here in January but then you know what rumours are although it would be nice to look forward to. Would certainly not do us any harm

Its because we will draw Arsenal at home in the third round of the cup, then we will have eleven Arsenal youngsters playing at Withdean

It's a scream that i hope echoes round the tiny heads of those who think a striker at the expense of Falmer is a good idea.
It's a yell that i hope shatters the huge, glistening glass structure that is BG's edifice of self-important know-it-all-ism.
I'd peck him if i had a beak.

If you had a beak you would probably be able to fly above your enemy and deposit a squishy Martin Perry on them.

I had assumed that the talk of "striker" and "Arsenal" meant some talented kid who they would give to us to give him first team experience. Not that we would be paying anything out. Therefore at no expense to us.

Bollox!!... a striker and Falmer are NOT mutually exclusive... let that echo around your tiny head for a few minutes before you respond...

FFS... we are talking about a loan player (if we are minimising costs) to help us stay in this division, which, in turn, helps the case for Falmer...

Save your fingers b.w.2. it seems people would rather see us bottom of the Championship at Xmas and still waiting for Falmer go ahead rather than splash a few quid now on a Loan player and secure our status in this League:nono:

If we had the money for a striker and Falmer, why wouldn't it have been done?
Of course the directors could be making a mistake, but i still trust them to run OUR football club as best they can. If you think otherwise, then that's fine.

But you do just sound like another of those granite-headed self-important protectors of truth that are convinced they can run the club much better than anyone else.
And it all just becomes so frustratingly dull.

Personally, i think we'll get a loan striker soon. We're reaching that point where we need an injection and perhaps we haven't needed that so much before now.

I expect MM is doing the best he can in the situation but it is down to DK as he is the man who contols the purse strings!!

You control your purse strings. Should i have a go at you for not giving £100,000 for a striker?
You miser.

Good stuff... I believe we DO have the money for a loan striker, and the fight for Falmer... although Insider wouldn't confirm or deny that we had the funds to get a target man in... it is a matter of how much the board allow MM to get one in... judging by the lack of progress so far... I believe they are not offering MM enough... yet!... and, yes, I do think the board should allow MM sufficient money to get someone good enough in... very short sighted if they don't, IMHO...

In fact, doesn't sound like your views are a million miles from mine...

BG - Thats so silly - and you know it !! watch out LI,Lokki7, Beach Hut and the Blind faith police will be coming round to sort you out once and for all. !!:jester:

It goes without saying the striker situation is critical and the sooner we get one on loan or wherever the better.

However due to our probably perceived better start than perhaps anticipated I can see the club holding off as long as possible.

Remember last time round when SC took over we were critical yet this time we aren't in the bottom three (yet).

So Mr Auditor I am no blind faith man or ehatever I can see the wood from the trees.

What I do dislike are scaremongering posters who post lies.
