Oh do one, he created the chances he had tonight out of very little, it's not as though any were sitters. The keeper (who had a good game IMHO) actually made cracking saves from two of his efforts.

Would you rather he didn't bother to move himself into positions in which he'd get chances? He played really well tonight, was him or El Abd (with Bennett close behind) for MoM from where I was sitting.

Not a very good finisher, at the moment. Misses a LOT of chances. At least he is getting into them though.

And I'm sorry Edna, butr he did have one sitter tonight, that although the goalie saved, was about 2 yeards out and could have passed it either side (first time)

You're not allowed to slate Ashley Barnes on here, regardless of how many chances he misses

Funny how people see it differently, he needs to stop fluffing his lines, we're a goal scorer short of a bloody good side

That's not really true. It's just that anyone with half a brain cell can see that he's creating chance after chance, and one day he's going to tuck about 4 of them away in one game. Hopefully against Bournemouth.

Jesus he's only 20 FFS and looks a great player.

He's head and shoulders over the crud we have had here in recent seasons and will go on to be a very player for us.

i thought bennett played awful tonight, appeared really tired and not making his usual lively runs although he put in a good few balls. maybe its the 4 matchs in 12 days or something like that? thats affecting him

This.

Exactly what we were saying. If we get a game where Barnes, Murray and LuaLua all click we could easily BATTER any other team in the league.

It will happen. Live on Sky against Bournemouth? Not sure.
But Charlton and Peterborough away would be good!

I'm not sure his chances were that simple tonight but he probably should have done better with a couple of them, I really rate him though and reckon him and Murray could form a good partnership.

Yeah I hope you're right, we can't afford our strikers go keep missing easy chances, particularly when we play teams that actually try to score against us
