[Albion] Cole Palmer - More than a bit of a ****

Yeah I’ve seen him goad us more than the average. Probably has something to do with the fact that he scores a lot V us though. He looks like an orc with a ruler for a fringe.

We need to mark him very closely on Friday again. Don’t give him any space. Put Hinsh on him (Baleba everywhere else) and we dramatically reduce the number of chancres they would create.

Good player, but an absolute cleft with a stupid monk barnet. That "COLD" Palmer goal celebration is one of the worst ones ever divised. The only other one that gets on my TITS more is when the ball is shoved up their shirt with a sucked thumb.

So you've blown your beans up some tarts muff and created a new grotch-goblin for the world. Well done you, and about 3bn other blokes. NOBODY CARES.

grow a pair! All pantomime
Surely reacting to him is also part of the pantomime. I'm with the OP here but then again I wouldn't want there to not be players like Zaha and Palmer and the wonderful Maupay behaving like this sometimes. I love the panto stuff.

Precisely.

He is a fabulous player, and should be first name on the England team sheet.

When a player scores against us I couldn't give a stuff if he drops his shorts to reveal a plastic seagull with it's head up his jacksy.
In fact, I thing that might take the sting out of conceding.
Thanks for a lovely mental image of what a Scott McGleish celebration could have been like.

I'm inclined to agree. The worst ones are when some bloke who made three sub appearances on loan for the opposition back in 2018 puts his hands up like "oh no, I've accidentally scored a goal" and declines to celebrate out of "respect" for the opposition fans. Performative bullshit. Go and celebrate like anyone else would, you virtue-signalling idiot.

Bit different if you were a childhood fan who made 300 appearances for that team and won their player of the year award three times, but much less than that? Come off it.

For a fabulous player he was absolutely dogshit in the second half yesterday………everything he did was a half-arsed effort (thank goodness)

A lot of our millionaire prima donnas irritate me but Palmer is well down the list, seems pretty humble considering

Given the Everton player got booked for the arm flapping celebration that seems another certain yellow card.

I think he's one of those who always looks like he's running at half pace, but his football mind works about ten times faster than anybody else so it's deceptive. When they're winning, it looks like genius. When they're not, he looks like he's not really arsed. I remember Glenn Murray's early days at the Albion: he got stick from some because they thought he wasn't really trying sometimes.

Note: I am not suggesting Sir Glenn is on the same level of ability as Cole Palmer. Though in terms of brains and personality, he's streets ahead of course.

Statistically, Palmer actually hasn't been as effective this season in general as he was last. Apart from in one key game, of course

Mostly agree, but last night he really didn’t look like he couldn’t be arsed.

I think this remains one the greatest goal celebrations ever, particularly for a player against a former club
