SELLING every seat would be priority, then FILLING every seat.

Allowing friends to (easily) take your heavily discounted tickets on the cheap would devalue tickets, lead to fewer ST sales and reduce chance of sell-outs - as I wittered on about here.
I believe the ability to easily share a ST would lead to more ST sales and would def lead to fewer empty seats.

I think our STs have been sold out every year in the Premier League, haven’t they?

Club needs to keep a few thousand tickets available for new fans or those that can’t commit to 19 games a year. It becomes a closed shop otherwise.

That's a rare event which will no doubt quickly be resolved if there is a bug in the system. Thousands of us have used it since ticket sharing has been available without any issues.
I was just pointing out it wasn’t as easy for some.

On the other ST thread I mentioned that I couldn’t find the free sharing ST details when a family member needed them recently, it was pointed out to me on that thread where to find them…….In the small print terms & conditions.
I also didn’t know that the ST sharing fees differed after the first free share…..this was also pointed out in the T & C.
At the time the details were not obvious on the club website when trying to set up a free share.

Data modelling ??? Common sense tells me..... If normal season ticket holders were able to give their tickets to friend/family member/work colleague or anyone they wanted to(as 1901 ticket holders can), there would be fewer empty seats. Do you not agree ??
What if one of this list of potential beneficiaries was currently banned from attending matches for whatever reason?

Just far enough away from LDC
A nice number of arsenal fans were in east lower including one who threatened a 14year old and threw punches at an adult before being taken out followed by his partner in tears at his behaviour

But that like saying that you are a tradesman who gets discount from a certain supplier because you are a loyal customer, then letting a friend use your discount. That’s totally missing the point.
It’s your ST, sold to you at a discount because of your loyalty. Why should your friend be able to use it at no extra cost when another fan would have to pay full price?
The discounted ST is to allow YOU to go to matches and use the free travel scheme. Not your mate.
You get one free transfer.

Then, if the club impose a charge I’d pass that on. If it goes on exchange then obviously I get the whole lot back.

The ticket a mate gets from me (legally) includes travel.

What we’re debating here is whether I charge my mate for my ticket and any ‘upgrades’ etc if I transfer it to him. That’s at my discretion and, for me, being able to occasionally doing something nice for a mate is a good thing….and allowable under club rules (as long as my mate has membership etc).

I believe there would be fewer SALES, as I outlined here.

And selling out is the club's priority (including creating demand; maintaining value), before bums on seats.

Personally, I don't give a shit if someone's non-Albion supporting neighbour/work colleague can't pick up a ticket on the cheap and at the last minute.

If they are Albion, there are ways of buying or getting shared tickets with a little knowledge and planning.

They also need to take into account increased allowance in cup competitions for away fans and, as we saw in the Europa League, all the Uefa hangers on that were put in the 1901s!

Our Opinions differ then..You may not give a shit. I do. I`d be more than happy to give another the opportunity of going to the Amex if I couldn`t go. Many can`t afford a season ticket.. indeed a lot of people can`t warrant a £50 one off ticket.
