I think I must be one of very few who thought we were lucky to come away with a point. Yes the team ran and ran but apart from Reid showed no creativity at all. It seemed that everytime Bristol attacked we gave them 2 or 3 opportunities to shoot by panic clearances. Should we be congratulating ourselves on a great defensive display when it was only City's strikers inablity or unwillingness to shoot on target that kept the score 0-0?

If that's as good as we can play away from home we have no chance of winning the playoffs. Iwelumo won plenty of headers today and I don't think one of them went to a Brighton player. Why is Knight playing so far away from him and why doesn't the midfield offer support? The fact that we seemed so unwilling to try and win the game on the counter-attack was very disappointing to me.

As ciderred says if we'd shown a bit of adventure, we could have come away with a win . Maybe our away confidence is so fragile that we couldn't risk it?

We were VERY lucky to come away with a popint, but full credit for a great defensive display in spite of some very nervous moments from Dan Harding. Chippie had an excellent game. Jonah as usual worked hard, but wasted a couple of great opportunities. Leon looked more interested than I can remember for a long time and was regularly tackling back.

Exciting game. Ten out of ten for the support!

Am I being unfair but did Charlie Oatway win any tackles, beat any players or make any telling passes yesterday?

Why are BCFC fans so negative after this result? It looks like you're in with a good chance of beating Qpr to second place. I agree that it is a weak division. In games against us you've generally looked better than PA or QPR. If QPR were as good as their fans think they are, they would have got a result at Home Park.

think that could be quite true. but it was a good point which will give us more confidence in two legged playoffs.

Nice to see the return of Toilet rolls at the game yesterday!:lolol:

Great Defensive display yesterday,as for Iwelumo,if Leon got a bit closer to him for the knock downs it would be a lot easier.

So dont start knocking Iwelumo,I think he has done a great job for us as the Target man.

A very good defensive display. Bristol only had a couple of scoring chances which were saved/missed. Whilst we did not create many chances, we got what we deserved against a decent team.

Excellent performance from the team and the supporters

Roll on the play off and the final at Cardiff?

Yorkie posted the words to that song on here last week, with the intention that WE should sing it to them

i don't understand why people are so pleased? i haven't seen us much this year but the last two games i've been to (luton and briz away) have led me to believe our team is worse than anything we've had since div 3 days.

we were lucky not to have lost, created absolutely nothing upfront and didn't look capable of competing in midfield. and this direct style of football, is not only terrible to watch but doesn't even seem to be effective.

ok ok so we should get into the playoffs but we only get results at home and i'm led to believe that is probably more to do with the Withdean factor than our team's ability.

Not a bad summary. To be fair we did compete in midfield, but we aren't capable of keeping the ball for long enough which tends to be more of a problem away from home.
Have to agree regarding possession.I couldn't believe the stats in "Football First"-Albion 51%,Bristol C 49%

Pleased because it makes a change. We always lose away. So it's nice to come away from a big game with something!

A lot of teams are just as inconsistant as us. It's a close league and our direct football works for us so instead of complaining lets embrace it and enjoy the possibility of a trip to Cardiff. Things could be much worse!
