Surprised Molumby is going out on loan - I think over the season he could have a role at Brighton - but he will be a major asset to Forest and could help Hughton turn things around there. Hughton does need a striker - but they are in short supply.

Given he's played about two minutes in the PL, and we have about 12 midfielders, I'm not remotely surprised. In fact, it'd impede his development if he were to stay.

2nd year scholar and Welsh international Marcus Dackers told he will not be getting pro deal at club, he had a 2 week trial with Swansea just before Christmas, covid is delaying decision but thinks he will find out end of next week.

News on Ed Turns loan deal - Hearing Simon Rusk as blocked this due to a shortage of CB's in U23s. there's also a rumour that club has a lot of the foreign academy boys stuck abroad through travel bans etc. and subsequently Dan Ashworth has rightly so put any academy loan outgoings on hold?

Few weeks ago a paper published a story about Odele Offiah nephew of rugby legend Martin Offiah, being sort after by a couple of German clubs, this I am reliably informed was the work of his french based agent trying to stir up some interest and was not true! His a very promising powerfully built CB / CDM, very quick, and its great news for us that his going nowhere (Yet!) Think this is good testament to the clubs network across Europe that they can quickly determine what is and isn't fact.

Surely this happens all the time. Not sure about your final sentence.

Ps - it’s “sought” and “he’s”. Are you a journo?

Notably absent from Wimbledon's squad today.

Good , I hope we get him to sign for another 3 years , I really think he's ready to be in the matchday squad , just has something different about him and in a years time he will be playing regular first team football wherever he ends up .

I just hope Potter and the club see his potential because for me he's the best player I've seen come out of our academy and that includes Connolly and Alzate .

He needs to look at Russell Martin’s career a bit closer. He never played for us.

He was in the same way Gareth Barry was with us, but I would be surprised if their were too many people involved in with the club who would have managed him back then.

Is there any chance you are able provide any credibility to your statements on this thread? All seem fairly logical but seriously in the know about youth transfers on a level I have never witnessed before on NSC.

It's incredible levels of detail.

You need to re-read the article and learn a bit more about Martin's early career.

Martin DID play for us - at U-18 level. He was continuing his education as a student at Varndean though and so was playing for Albion as an "associated schoolboy", rather than as a full-time scholar. As he says in this article at the time, he was only going in a couple of days a week and didn't feel he was playing very well, so asked to leave (and went to Lewes) - Youth Football: Martin poised for England call

/Warren has done well. It's his first taste of EFL football and he's at a good level in League One. Russell Martin is well known from his time with Brighton, and it's a good fit as both Russell and Warren play in the same position.l

Not quite sure how Russell’s credentials as a manager would have been observed as an associate schoolboy /Under 18 and by whom. However I’ll bow to your greater knowledge because I’m sure you, like me grew up with him!

Being reported in the Irish media - although they are saying that Preston are favourites to land him and a number of Championship clubs have enquired.

It is also being reported that Brighton turned down an offer from Millwall for a permanent transfer that was described as a 'Millwall record' - although given that the Millwall record transfer fee is £1.5million that really isn't a surprise.

Pleased that he is not being sold. I suspect that if we end up selling Bissouma at some point, he’ll very much be needed in the future at some point.

I dont think there ever was any idea of selling him. He is just 21 and obviously seen as (or he would have been loaned out in the summer) not very far away from being a PL player, just not yet.
