You make a good point but to fix something will take time, so come back to me in 3/4 years as your post is pointless.

Takes will and a plan too, has this Government got either? In any case, they have made the job harder by adding grief and expense to our trading relationship with the EU. Is there anything we could do today that we could not have done before in this regard?

No point, I doubt you will be using this persona in ten years time, and if you were, you would welch anyway.

I’ve spat on me hand.. My word is my bond, name your charity...mine is the dogs trust. If I’m still alive in 10 years and the corrupt EU is still going I’ll give a nifty to a charity of your choice..
Don’t be shy now.

If you insist, we can make it REMF or AITC, if there ceases to be an EU or other named organisation that has evolved from the EU at any time in the next ten years, I will shed £50 in the direction of one of the afore mentioned Albion related charities, you might have to make yours €50 though, we could be back in and the pound gone in ten years time.

My charity will be the Dogs trust, if as you say the Reich morphs into some other organisation how many countries would you say will constitute a reformed EU? Greece is likely to be out soon, Italy and possibly France?.. all the while Turkey and Albania could join some sort of shite shower.
Anyhow, as I said, my charity is the dogs trust you can have whatever charity you choose.

Liberal surge changes coalition calculus
The big surprise of the evening was a sensational surge in support for the socially liberal, pro-EU D66 party, a member of Rutte’s outgoing coalition.

The party claimed second place with 24 seats, five more than at the last election in 2017 — a performance that looks likely to catapult D66 into some of the powerful posts in a future coalition.

EU enthusiasts had reason to celebrate not just because of D66’s strong showing. The pan-European Volt party is also expected to enter parliament for the first time with three seats.

Could one of the MODS please move this post to the Dutch election thread?

Sorry, I thought you might like some evidence that shows strong support for the EU in Europe, seems like half the parliament is the Netherlands in pro EU and has never been stronger
