Jezza could have voted it through.

Probably had other things on his mind.

Indeed, absolutely anything could be voted through Parliament if you get the all opposition MPs of all parties to vote for it, but that very rarely happens. That's why Governments normally seek a majority in the house, even if it costs them £1 Billion to get that majority.

So who, in that Government majority voted against it, and caused the Government to fail to get their bill through, regardless of what opposition MPs of all parties did ? (I'll even give you a clue)

Bloody Worthing!
Spare a thought for Gibraltar, who were represented in the EU Parliament by an MEP along with the West Country, who voted 98% to vote Remain. They will have to have a hard border for all the workers and children going to school.

That's a good point well made. I remember thinking at the time of the referendum, what would the reaction be like if it had been the Remain side that had somehow sold Gib down the river. The Daily Mail would have run stories about the wartime heroics of the island, the idiots in the ERG would have asked countless questions in Parliament and the like of Johnson would have been photographed in full WW2 battledress with 'Save Gibraltar' flag on the end of his rifle's bayonet.
As it is, the Leavers didn't give a toss about them and stitched them up royally and without a thought.

I'm sorry, but unless I missed something, isn't that exactly what the goon said on his tweet

(It may well be there is more 'tweet' that I can't see as I don't use twitter, but from the bit of the tweet that is showing on NSC).

I better answer this properly Watford as Dave (insert here what CZ Town he’s in this month) recons I haven’t answered properly and it’s clearly to early for him to ignite the weed so he’s getting grumpy, anyway yo answer your question the tweet says..

The Bloomberg article says

The goon suggests we are recruiting Romanians the article says “ from countries like Romania and India.

Click bait and fact sorted.

I agree that he is revelling in the irony of it, but haven't you ony quoted half his tweet ? What about the words at the bottom of the tweet that say

Brexit Creates Jobs for Customs Staff in Eastern Europe, India.
UK Companies are turning to cheaper overseas labor to complete their post-Brexit customs paperwork, creating jobs in countries such ...

Can you not see those words on Thunder Bolts post ?

And isn't it another company that's recruiting in India ?
