The denigration of the entire economics profession, which put its predictive power and usefulness on a par with circus fortune tellers, was a staple of the Leave campaign. They simply didn't care what the OECD, IMF, Treasury, LSE and the BoE had to say. It's just guess work yeah?

Everybody can get something right if they guess often enough! How many people in those organisations have won the Lottery?Give us your best guess at how many years jail Lagarde is getting for fraud :lolol::lolol::lolol:

A lot of them are taking not contributing to the system, so economics are pretty irrelevant to them.

It could well have been a reference to the fact that disproportionate numbers of retired and (I believe) unemployed people voted Leave. Why do you say that there is no evidence for that?

Scotland will not be able to stay as part of the EU when the UK leaves and the idea that the UK can part exit with Scotland remaining is laughable. This will result in Scotland having to leave the UK and a new independent Scotland joining the EU as a new member which would require them to take the Euro.

For all her posturing Sturgeon knows this and with North Sea oil posting its first losses in its history the idea that Scotland can cut themselves loose from the UK and thrive under the Euro is simply ridiculous.

Greenland left the EU but remains part of Denmark, which is still in the EU.

THE referendum thread (others will be merged with this)

Greenland leaving and Denmark remaining is like asking the EU if they mind if the Isle of Man leaves the EU whilst the UK remains. Of course that would not be a major issue and not really comparable to the Scotland situation where if the rest of the U.K (including one of the major global financial cities) leaves

Not to mention the thick, uneducated and racist people that voted leave. Oh, and all those spiteful malicious parents and grandparents that wanted their children and grandchildren to have a terrible life.............................

There is no evidence, even if 48% of those who voted (48% is what can be correctly described as a minority) would like there to be.

You almost got this right, but the Parents and Grandparents were not spiteful and malicious, some were included in the thick, uneducated and racist, the rest were gullible and naive.
There is another group, the miscalculating protest voters, who wanted to stay in, but let the EU know they are not happy with a few things.
There are some thick and uneducated people amongst the remain voters too, but you got all the racists, the protestors and the gullible.

IMF has slashed its growth forecast for the UK for next year by 0.9% due to the EU result
So they're not even predicting a recession. Wow, what an economic catastrophe.

I now wait the deluge of stop being negative, its only a temporary blip, its worth it anyway - The facts speak for themselves
What facts are you referring to?

Has it never occurred to you that you might be wrong?
