Brexit is not done.

Not much of what Johnson says or has said is entirely true or honest.

It is an empty slogan which he concocted to win votes from those who were/are weary of the conflicts over Brexit.

He knew it wouldn't heal any divisions but was only interested in winning power.

It was a con.

It worked.

Marvellous scenes today ! Now Liz Truss has been briefed to ramp up the tensions and muddy the waters with her " LOOK LOOK Over There " threats that are hilariously about French threats !

So there is such huge anger about the French making threats that we have to make our own threats ! Tghe Government has to escalate the situation to keep stirring the pot to deflect from actually looking at the real situation as regards Johnson's Cop Out Brexit deal. So despite threatening to bring down the entire NI protocol because we don't like it now, heaven forbid the French from doing the same if they feel a deal has been reneged on.

Absolutely hilarious that the Tories keep dressing this dispute up with next years French presidential elections when the UK has its own agenda to keep people from actually scrutinising how bad Brexit is. So, our only solution is to say " You started it..."

France has 48 hours to back down in fishing row, warns Liz Truss
Foreign secretary says UK will begin dispute talks set out in Brexit deal if threats not withdrawn

Katya Adler having the courage of her convictions to print the truth, by showing the deliberate mistranslation of the letter sent.

Jean Castex's missive did not, as has been suggested by the UK government and parts of the UK press, demand that Britain be punished for, or damaged by, leaving the EU. But it does say that the UK must be made to respect its legal promises and that the public must see that leaving the EU is more painful than positive.

Indeed there is a Twitter sequence on Lord Frost's feed that carefully contrives to mistranslate Jean Castex's words as being the sole reason to escalate the dispute and give it more traction with the gullible public. It's always a good distraction policy to try to blame the French, goes down well with the little Englanders from the 1970's.
When all this blows over I'm willing to bet they try to get some argument with Iceland going again for old times sake too, one that tugs the old mislead patriots leg.

So, even the Express is reporting that Johnson has backed down and issued 100 licences which should’ve been done months ago.

The more this happens every year, every holiday the better. The more roaming charges hike up the better. The more the resentment builds. Drip, drip, drip.

What an utterly shite Brexit type it was that Billy Bunter chose. Lol.

Bloody Worthing!
I might well have missed something, but my impression is that we still await anyone coming up with a single advantage of Brexit as it has unfolded. Indeed, I'd go as far as to say that it seems worse than some of us on 'this side' of the argument predicted.

The article from the LSE (yes, I know - 'WHAT DO THEY KNOW?' I hear from the Brexiteers) shows in some detail just what a mess we've been dumped in by Fatty and his pals. And the more you look at it, the worse it gets................
