Maybe, on the Brexit thread, he may like to offer up a suggestion for an alternative to the Northern Ireland Protocol that he so happily voted for and has now decided he doesn't want ?

Or maybe, he'll run off and ignore the question, maybe :dunce:

Somehow I doubt it......as far as I can tell he thinks Brexit's done, because BJ has announced it!

It's quite something when going out and trying to super glue yourself to the fast lane of a motorway is probably a more productive use of a retired person's time ...

Well, who could have predicted that

Maybe, on the Brexit thread, he may like to offer up a suggestion for an alternative to the Northern Ireland Protocol that he so happily voted for and has now decided he doesn't want ?

Oh, apparently I did :lolol:

so I have this right, we have to slaughter 120,000 perfectly healthy pigs because, you guessed it, all the foreign workers left i.e. Brexit, those UK Pig farmers will go bust and we will end up importing our pork products from the EU so we hand our business to them....?

Taking back control....

They also seem have made fair assesment of Johnson:

‘Industry fury as arrogant Prime Minister throws crisis-torn pig industry under a bus’

Rather than treat the issue with the gravity a messy mass cull of pigs and the decline of an entire industry deserved, Mr Johnson saw it as an opportunity for a light-hearted spar with Mr Marr and to reassert his Brexit ideals, heaping all the blame on the industry.

Having covered farming politics for more than 20 years, I have never seen such an appalling, ill-judged and ill-informed interview. It seems astonishing that it came from a man deemed worthy by some of holding the role of Prime Minister.

“In all my years of political viewing I have never heard a PM be so poorly briefed that was an embarrassment. He just threw the pig industry under a bus,” wrote one trusted and veteran pig farmer via email.

Mr Johnson’s comments clearly indicate he has no intention of facilitating new short-term temporary visas for butchers to ease the backlog – even though his reference to ‘uncontrolled immigration’ is completely at odds with the short-term measures the meat sector is seeking.

But even more worrying is the rhetoric, matched by the deafening silence from Defra as the industry spirals into crisis – the Government, from the top down, seems unaware that there is even a crisis or, more worryingly if it is aware, prepared to let animals and the industry suffer, rather than being seen to compromise on its misguided Brexit ideals.

Dont bother with your usual multiple questioned response.
There is more chance of you finally growing your pair of bollocks than me knowing you have responded

Meanwhile, away from the testosterone fuelled, pointless personal insults and late night diversions, back on topic....

https://eand.co/this-is-the-brutal-reality-of-brexit-1639c6c5e653

And.... we just about to make things considerably worse again. For some reason the government wants to keep coming up with further petty arguments and discord about the EU , anything to deflect from the impending disaster. .. For how much longer can keep invoking "Two World wars and one World Cup " as leverage to do whatever we want ? How many more times will Lord Frost call for sequential re-negotiations of his own Brexit Agreement ? When will the Russian owners of the Tory government finish ruining our country ?

Trade war looms as UK set to spurn EU offer on Northern Ireland

The Brexit minister, Lord Frost, will use a speech in Portugal on Tuesday to say that scrapping its prohibition on British sausages to resolve the dispute over the Northern Ireland protocol do not meet the UK and unionists demands.

The peer will call for “significant” changes to the post-Brexit agreement he negotiated, including over the role of the European court of justice, something the EU is highly unlikely to concede to.

Ireland’s foreign minister, Simon Coveney, reacted with incredulity at the UK’s “red line” and its timing just days before what he said was a “serious” offer from the EU.

He tweeted: “EU working seriously to resolve practical issues with implementation of Protocol – so UKG creates a new “red line” barrier to progress, that they know EU can’t move on…. are we surprised? Real Q: Does UKG actually want an agreed way forward or a further breakdown in relations?”

“The French president and the German chancellor and the European Commission president cannot wake up every single day to a new argument with Boris Johnson. At some point they need to send a stronger simpler message."

“Use of a termination clause within the trade and cooperation agreement itself can be triggered unilaterally and would fully suspend the zero tariff/quota trade deal between the two sides.”

You take a break from your all night porn and puff session with 'your boys' to spew a few angry insults on a message board, completely incapable of actually writing anything meaningful on the subject and then wonder what sort of response you think you will get :dunce:

Maybe you could borrow a few crayons from your mate Ppf. It worked for him and he managed to make his most comprehensive contribution ever, 6 completely meaningless points, but correctly numbered 1 to 6.

Maybe, with a few more crayons and a little less porn and puff you could achieve a similar level of eloquence :lolol:

Well, this particular corner is inhabited by radicalised obsessives who are incapable of discussing anything seriously so you all deserve to be ridiculed on an ongoing basis. I believe MoS called it c**** corner?

He may have a point, I would think you must be one of the top 4 contributors :lolol:

Anyway, back on topic, what do you think we should do as an alternative to the Northern Ireland Protocol that you happily voted for and have now decided you don't want ?

who was it who said the EU would collapse in 5-10 years or whatever, and other nations would follow the UK ?

Here you see an Irish sea terminal built in Port of Dunkirk - and France - Ireland sea routes increase from 12 to 44

In direct answer to your initial questions, I recall that one or two of our very own homegrown Brexiteers might just have woven this into their narrative at some stage. However, in reality that godawful government of Poland are flirting with this possibility (in effect) - and there were popular demonstrations against this in several Polish cities over the weekend.

Funnily enough it seems to be the far right, nationalist, ideologues that are driving this and the younger, urban, educated citizens opposing it. Wow! Where have we heard this before, I wonder?

And for any neutrals in Poland than they should only have to look over in our direction and see what a pig's ear we've made of it to make up their minds.
