Page does not exist. I wonder why it got deleted.

UK - AU trade deal.

Still waiting for a Brexiter to tell me whats in it for the UK.

AU got all they wanted despite being the junior partner, plus we cut climate change pledges.

Top work eh...
Because of Intel not considering UK chip factory

Doubtless one of our chirpy and enviably well-informed Brexit cheerleaders will attempt to balance this by reference to something like a new 'chip' shop opening in Stoke.

The sad reality is in the pre-Brexit world places like Stoke would have been attractive for such investments, but we are outside of large single market now 22m miles off Dover

Such fabs require billions to get them up and running. Such a wasted opportunity, but I'm afraid Johnson is anti-business and the message he is sending is all wrong

Still there is the investment in Newcastle from the Saudis, should we be cheering that?

Handy bit of cash for the Geordies, you would bite your own arm off for that sort of money.... Fortunately, the Saudis will do that for you.

Intel says it will no longer consider UK as site for huge chip factory because of Brexit

Intel says Brexit means it is no longer considering the UK as the site to build a major new chip factory as part of its $95bn (£70bn) global expansion plans. Pat Gelsinger, the chief executive of the world’s largest maker of semiconductors, said they were now only considering European Union member states to host a new European site.

But I'm sure one of the regulars will insist it is nothing to do with Brexit :dunce:

It does appear over on the Main Board, that sticking your fingers in your ears and shouting 'It's nothing to do with Brexit' is the new sticking your fingers in your ears and shouting 'Project fear' :lolol:

Bruce..."The majority of people in this audience voted for Brexit. We select this audience very carefully"

Was that on purpose last night or standard protocol now the government have their people on board?

I think they were trying to get a representative audience of the area that they were in. The tide of that representive audience appeared to be changing.
