I just find it a little strange that NSC's most ardent Unionist [MENTION=33253]JC Footy Genius[/MENTION] never considered the Irish Border throughout the whole of the Brexit campaign, then happily voted for Johnson's Irish Sea border, now realises that he and his fellow Unionists don't want it (apart from it being unimplementable) and can't think of an alternative
It's almost as if he didn't understand what he was voting for
Putting a border in your own country is what any patriot would do

However, he acknowledged the UK economy was facing “stresses and strains” as it moves away from the “broken model” which, he said, had been rejected by voters in the 2016 Brexit referendum.
Asked on the BBC’s The Andrew Marr Show about a warning by Chancellor Rishi Sunak that shortages could continue to Christmas, Mr Johnson said: “Rishi is invariably right in everything he says.”

I was sure that he said supply chain shortages were 'Project Fear' and yet he's now saying that if you didn't know you were voting for supply chain shortages then you didn't understand what you were voting for ?

It's a case of Populism meets reality, his interview basically said the country could go to ratshit as long as he got re-elected.
In the same way Trump's populist tenure ended with insurection, we see Johnson's reign at the point of food and fuel shortages, unfortunately for us no chance to ditch him for another 2 years
