I don’t understand your question Todger; who is my guru and who is their guru? And what has any of this to do with the UK leaving the corrupt EU?
See you at the game this arvo [emoji1303]

alex bellfield is being asked to account for his actions, word is he's been fitted up, (but if he is found guilty, he'll probably claim he's having a nervous breakdown, like all these media wonks). so what do you make of him? is he a wrong'un, as you have a nose for these types

I just find it a little strange that NSC's most ardent Unionist JC Footy Genius never considered the Irish Border throughout the whole of the Brexit campaign, then happily voted for Johnson's Irish Sea border, now realises that he and his fellow Unionists don't want it (apart from it being unimplementable) and can't think of an alternative

It's almost as if he didn't understand what he was voting for :lolol:

Putting a border in your own country is what any patriot would do

Who would have thunk it, unlucky Guido...

So is the government really trying to raid the emergency services to get truck drivers? That would suggest they have no plan?

quite a lot to unpack there baga, so i've done bullet points

1. you never stop running away from reality

2. your side gave up on the debate many months ago

3. have you any evidence that the eu is corrupt? (no)

4. britain and bungle**** is corrupt, simply witness the billions in covid contracts vanishing for ever

5. is the match on topic? (no)

i await a considered and honest response with bated breath

It's almost as if Johnson is now trolling the Brexiteers

Boris Johnson has admitted he has known for months the UK’s haulage industry was in trouble, as he indicated the supply chain problems besetting the economy could continue until Christmas. However, he acknowledged the UK economy was facing “stresses and strains” as it moves away from the “broken model” which, he said, had been rejected by voters in the 2016 Brexit referendum.

Asked on the BBC’s The Andrew Marr Show about a warning by Chancellor Rishi Sunak that shortages could continue to Christmas, Mr Johnson said: “Rishi is invariably right in everything he says.”

https://www.scotsman.com/news/politics/boris-johnson-says-supply-problems-could-continue-until-christmas-and-admits-to-knowing-about-uk-haulage-problems-for-months-3405682

I was sure that he said supply chain shortages were 'Project Fear' and yet he's now saying that if you didn't know you were voting for supply chain shortages then you didn't understand what you were voting for ?

No wonder the 247 Brexiteers on NSC are getting confused and staying off the Brexit thread

For a long time some of the best analysis of Brexit comes from outside the UK bubble.

A brutal take on Johnson's Brexit choices.

https://edition.cnn.com/2021/09/28/business/brexit-fuel-food-shortages/index.html

It didn't have to be this way — there were other options for a future EU-UK relationship. Worker shortages, for example, were not an inevitable outcome of Brexit, nor was going it alone on energy. But in Prime Minister Boris Johnson's ideological rush to "get Brexit done" amid fraught negotiations with the European Union, agreements in several crucial areas, including energy, were sidelined.

It's a case of Populism meets reality, his interview basically said the country could go to ratshit as long as he got re-elected.

In the same way Trump's populist tenure ended with insurection, we see Johnson's reign at the point of food and fuel shortages, unfortunately for us no chance to ditch him for another 2 years
