Shame The Beatles weren't allowed to work in Europe until they became big. Oh...
Perhaps now is the time for the phoenix to rise from the ashes, with British cars for example, we have the skills and the knowledge, BMW, VAG and Mercedes, can do one.
Now wouldn't that be great the limit is endless now.
So what cars do Britain make and other "stuff" ?
Please tell us..........
Do you really think that the UK has progressed in the past 40 years only because we were part of the EU? It's amazing that the USA has been able to have a black president and maybe a women president, when they have not been part of the EU.
It's a precedent, albeit with major differences. Britain's fishing industry has been profoundly damaged by EU policy and the CAP has cost us billions.
Only 1million in it and London's vote was 10% less due to adverse weather. Should be another vote.
So you are really basing your reaction on the markets on the first day after the vote.
You're obviously not blessed with much on the way of intelligence are you? If you really believe your comment then you are really dumb.
Now we're stumbling blindfolded towards the 1960's, will The Beatles reform?

Yeah you misunderstood. People were quoting stupid reasons given by those who voted leave. I gave a stupid reason someone voted to remain. brighton'ove said the example I gave wasn't the same as it wasn't bigoted, so I quoted two examples from the post I'd originally quoted that also weren't bigoted. You asked:
"How are these answers bigoted?"
To someone who suggested that there is a:
"Slight difference between not giving an answer and being an overt bigot."
So I was just pointing out a bigoted answer that I presume you had missed, as otherwise you wouldn't have asked originally:
"How are these answers bigoted?"
What do you propose we do now to take things forwards I would like to hear you honest unbiased views and whilst I would welcome we are up a creak without a paddle replies , what I am really after is workable solutions.
What is your preferred model Canada Norway or Swiss or New non EU UK?
It's happened and there is no turning back so where do we go from here?
Thank you.

But they wouldn't all have been Remainers though would they? There's some really sad losers on here. It's called democracy.
What can they debate?
"There has been on online petition with 100,000 (or 1,000,000 signatories) who voted remain but are now crying. I think we should allow another vote, but we'll exclude those nasty pensioners and manual workers. Just let the luvvies vote. All those in favour".
FTSE down 3.15% at today's close. Hardly catastrophic. It's now at 6138, the same level it was at 1 week ago. Nobody has been wiped out today or even badly hit, unless they've got money in individual stocks such as the banks. The German and French markets have been much harder hit.
I'm looking longer term than the first day of the vote, and I'm looking wider than the economic implications of the vote.
Believe what you like about my intelligence, I feel no need to explain my academic achievements to you.
Homosexuality to be declared illegal again?
Couldn't disagree with this more. Older generation are more affected by xenophobia so hardly wiser. The older generation has enforced something on the younger generation, which young people did not vote for. As 65+ is the age group that voted most to leave, many of them will be retired and less impacted by this. 18-40 who universally voted to remain will have to face the consequences (and future generations too) of the xenophobia of older generations and history won't look kindly on them.
Nobody is basing anything on one day. Sadly, people like you will eventually realise what a terrible mistake this country made this week. Whether it is sooner or later is debatable but it will happen.
