On the contrary I know exactly what I voted for

In that case its not a case of understanding, its a case of judgement.

If all the leavers had understood what they were voting for we wouldn't be in the state of paralysis we are in now. Unfortunately the wall of right wing propaganda and xenophobia won out.

I agree with you all a bit pointless, the wording was changed from the original using amendments 381 and 399(?) to placate the Tory rebels and avoid a defeat to ensure this clause stays in and the bill continues on its course. As I said a few weeks ago it doesn’t really add much, the original wording was poor and seems more symbolic than anything. Thought I would mention it anyway as a few crackers remainers got their knickers in a right twist about its addition originally(almost as if they had to wake up to the reality that we are leaving.), at least they wont be still furious at its addition now given the wording. They can now stupidly cling on to false hope Brexit wont happen.

Still, a good night for the Brexit process through parliamentary democracy, a concrete vote we will not be staying in The Customs Union, perhaps finally people will stop the pretence of staying in it, and what can only be described as a destruction of the second referendumers position again. I don’t expect for one second though this tiny minority will give up calling for it, they have after all nothing left in the tank to stop Brexit happening……perhaps dave clamp Lincoln berty and others will now place their focus on more realistic arguments though.

Awaits usual bizarre referencing from clamp about what time people post on this thread.

It is not a tiny minority that would like a say on the final deal.

We are not in a state of paralysis, legislation is progressing through parliament and negotiations are ongoing to Leave the EU.
Dickhead comments about right wing propaganda when Brexit had support across all political spectrums and shouts of xenophobia show up your frustration, lack of understanding and immaturity on the subject.

Paralysis suggests things haven't moved since the referendum - even the EU disagree with you on that. Otherwise they wouldn't have agreed to move on to the second stage.

Its a tiny minority of MP`s that think the public should have a say via a second referendum on the final deal.
Thats all that matters currently with parliamentary democracy

Want to change that? Get yourself a Farage and steal votes, and scare the crap out of the status quo

Which is a fudge that just kicks the can down the road, but there's a major road block ahead. Just you wait...

Brexit is consuming everything, nothing else it getting down, it is paralysis. At least we haven't gone like Poland, if it wasn't for the likes of Gina Miller that's where we'd be heading

Meanwhile, the 3rd major minister in a matter of weeks bites the dust. What a mess...

Not so sure about that either, I know that the voting on the amendments might suggest that, but the numbers for and against suggest to me a whipped Tory vote for and a whipped Labour vote to abstain.

You are clearly one of these people that only ever watches PMQs and base your judgement on nothing being done except Brexit on the questions in that session.
I suggest you slap on the Parliament Channel for a days viewing and realise all sorts of bills and debates on various subjects and legislation take place and are happening in real life, nothing at all resembling your version of events which you no doubt read somewhere and believed without question

No, as Labour MP's abstained, we do not know how each individual member feels about it, and as Tories were whipped for an aye, we can't be sure there either. Your statement could be that there is a tiny minority of MP's that want a second referendum enough to defy their party whips, not that a tiny minority want it, in a free vote, who knows how it would go?
It seems Corbyn has become less dogmatic and more pragmatic, all he needs to change the Labour position is a strong indication that it is wanted by the public. A second referendum need not be part of the withdrawal bill, it was just a convenient opportunity to have another attempt at getting one, it might take a few more attempts yet.

Leaving the EU, which is still on the cards. I fear that your position of wanting to remain is slipping away. As I say check back in a few years and let’s see which vote won through

Yeah, so what I am trying to get out from under your limpet like shell is how much leaving the EU you want. Would ending up like Norway be enough for you, or the Swiss, or Turkey? Would some agreements to keep the same tariffs as the EU does be acceptable to you, or is that a betrayal?
You see, if you say you know what you voted for, you either know what it is we will get, or you at least know what it is you wanted to get, I understand it may take many years and a lot of suffering to get there, but there must be something more to it than just being able to say "we left"

None of which have been to do with Brexit or have any bearing on it but feel free to continue lying and clutching at straws to 'support' your arguments.

Are you sure you didn't just make that list up? It seems a remarkably diverse program of government activity.

I think it’s all been covered in this thread already. I get that many remainers can only see a crushed UK at the end of this process, and some even appear to look forward to gloating about it. However I take the view that our complete collapse isn’t really in the interests of the EU so we are in a negotiation by both sides to try and get the best outcome that allows both sides to thrive.

At least we haven't gone like Poland, if it wasn't for the likes of Gina Miller that's where we'd be heading...
Gina Miller prevented the EU from interfering with the British legal system?

Meanwhile, the 3rd major minister in a matter of weeks bites the dust. What a mess...
Another desperate attempt to link Brexit with kiddy-fiddling. Such a stupid argument; it's just as relevant to say that all the kiddy-fiddling in the last umpteen years, Saville, Harris et al, was all done while we were in the EU. Surely a reason to leave?

No, of course it isn't, ant more than a government minister with kiddy-porn on is computer has any relevance to Brexit.
