Odd, you expect the leave camp to tell you exactly how it will be if we leave , but are happy with the remain camp hanging their hat on worse case scenario forecasts and best guess work.

At the end of the day you're going to believe any figure the remain camp throw at you , no questions asked.

It would seem their guess work is good enough for you. That's fine

It's not good enough for me.

Anyway , away from the economy, which is all the remain have, ex military generals out today saying we'd be more secure outside the EU.

I'd take security over a few quid thanks

You keep spouting the same crap with your fingers in your ear singing ding a ling a ling.

The figures are projections/forecasts. It is not an exact science. I am not going to hold the government to account if GDP only drops by an equivalent of £4,299 per household. Also, where have I requested the Leave camp give an exact figure as to the state of the economy in 5, 10 or 15 years? I haven't but I think it would help your case if someone in the Leave camp could give a forecast as to how the economy will benefit if we leave,

As for the Generals, have they actually stated what it is about the EU that reduces our readiness for war? Rose seems to suggest because of EU law we can't prepare troops for war. Is he trying to suggest that the MOD shouldn't owe the armed forces a duty of care? Perhaps we should return to the days when soldiers were merely cannon fodder. If they are going to come out with comments then at least try and substantiate them.

To use your analogy, if you're in a bad marriage, you're much better off out of it!

It isn't bad from where I'm sitting. I appreciate that some are always hankering for the greener grass on the other hill, of course.

Which of course you don't. Not if you've got any sense.

To keep this delightful analogy going . . . . yes you do (need to do what Drew says, and enter another marriage out of convenience). Except the new relationship we would have to seek with the EU (or enyone else we need to engage with) would not be a marriage. It would be more like 'friends with benefits' (we would hope). I expect it is more likey to turn into a gang bang, with the UK on the receiving end . . . . . I'm afraid that unless you want to be North Korea, celebacy is not an option.

The leave camp don't even have a consensus as to what we will aim for if we left. Would it be like Norway, Switzerland or Canada. Or is it something else?

I thought we were aiming for a situation after post brexit negotiations that would see a unique EU/UK relationship and not anything solely identical to any of the Norway, Swiss, Canadian or Albanian for that matter EU relationships.

Why do we have to pick "one of the above" in the first place? Surely out of all these different style relationships the EU has with different nations a UK tailored model can be negotiated, there is more than enough different EU relationships to use as a basis to start these negotiations.

I,like everyone else cant predict what the exact outcome of these negotiations will be, which parts the EU will say yes or no,which parts the UK will say yes or no,(except for the parts the public have voted they don’t want, like free movement or Brussels controlling so much law or judicial practices) but surely the most important part (for the leavers anyway) is getting to that point in the first place. We cant even begin building a post brexit Britain without a leave vote.

The remain camp are looking to stay in and reform The EU but as yet no one knows what they want to reform or how they will do it against an institution that doesn’t like reform amongst its members in the first place

But it is staged rubbish like this that is hurting the Remain vote. They have got to stop treating people like idiots, scaremongering, and even worse censoring people.

Have a fact...

A senior MP and one of the most prominent health experts backing Brexit has refused to hand out the Vote Leave campaign’s NHS leaflets, branding them “deliberately misleading”.

Dr Sarah Wollaston, a former GP and now chair of the House of Commons Health Select Committee, said that the Leave campaign should “stop treating the public like fools” by claiming that Brexit would free-up £350m a week to spend on the NHS."

Or we can just be friends and neighbours.

Christ, that news is so old I'd already forgotten about it.

Too much emphasis on post Brexit UK, what about post Brexit EU?

Severely weakened , particularly financially .

It's a house of cards and us leaving would start the domino effect.

Both sides are doing themselves no favours, it's why I said earlier you can get all the information about the EU online.

This sort of rubbish only comes from one side. The £4300 is defensible and many similar negative economic forecasts have been made - this, along with the Turkey stuff, are simply lies.

Did your friend of a friend in Holland tell you this as well?

It's never too late.

To keep this delightful analogy going . . . .

Are you in a relationship where the other partner constantly tells you you couldn't survive on your own ... always asking for more money ... always wants more control over your life .... wants to change your identity ?

Does this sound like you? These failed partnerships can reach such a damaging level that sometimes even when you are offered an opportunity to escape you fail to take the chance as your self belief/esteem has been crushed.

Visit #Voteleave to break this abusive cycle.
