That's what their biggest fear is.
Don't fear it, the EU is like FIFA, needs tearing down and starting again.
That's what their biggest fear is.
Or we can just be friends and neighbours.
You are disregarding my original premises, and responding to nuanced argument with quips and one liners. If you and Boris think it is so simple, all I can say is beware of unintended and unforseen consequences. That's fine on an EU thread on a football fan site, and your views have no unintended consequences for you. In Boris' case, I suspect we are watching a political career unravel before our eyes. Not if he wins, of course. But his strategy is a reckless gamble. As, indeed, is his objecive. Oh well. All the best.
Bugger - just heard that Rafa is staying at Newcastle
Don't fear it, the EU is like FIFA, needs tearing down and starting again.
The nonsense the IFS came out with today. The IFS is funded by the EU.
I don't fear it. The EU fear is us leaving. They'll be knackered if we leave. OUT.

I wonder who'll take over our £8 billion payment if we leave?
Greece maybe?

Are you in a relationship where the other partner constantly tells you you couldn't survive on your own ... always asking for more money ... always wants more control over your life .... wants to change your identity ?
Does this sound like you? These failed partnerships can reach such a damaging level that sometimes even when you are offered an opportunity to escape you fail to take the chance as your self belief/esteem has been crushed.

Maybe the remaining members will have to become more efficient at everything they do. Southern 'states' as well as 'northern', the 'richer' and the 'poorer'.
The remain are the biggest lying bullshiters I've ever come across. Every scare under the sun. Could this could that. Do you know what it Could and will be a lot better . OUT.
Rafa is taking a big risk, he'd be so much better off looking for the gravy train money of the Prem when someone gets sacked.
But he's going to take one step back knowing the rewards of making Newcastle great again will be three steps forward.
A man with balls who has ultimate confidence in himself
Indeed no. Neither in my personal life, nor in my 'relationship' with Europe.
You and I seem to be summing up the context of Brexit, in our exchanges, rather well. It is a bit like a discussion about curry. Some love it, some hate it and some are a bit m'eh about it. To some extent we can understand why the other might have a different view.
However the debate overall is a farce. Some people are demanding that nobody should be able to eat curry, while others feel we should have it for every meal, and yet others don't care what anyone thinks, but they really want to tell everyone what they think about curry. And they are insisting it isn't actually curry, it is radioactive communist Martian curry.
But its only curry, it really is. It is not compulsory curry through a staw up the nostrils, nor is it essential life saving curry that must be taken 3 times a day or you die (see, I'm being even handed in my analogy)
For me, Brexit is becoming what looks like a rather hot curry that is likely to ge me the shits. In my opinion. My urge to try some is limited, and I certainly don't want to try it if I then have to eat it three times a day until I die!
All the best.
I agree. The 'nono' was in reference to his decision's likely effect on BHA.
I like your analogy, and understand your point, albeit, it works both ways; it could mean that if we have the balls to stay with a second tier outfit (the EU) and the balls to show a bit of leadership in the organization, rather than flouncing, then greatness lies ahead
Well that certainly adds to the debate!!!!
I'd love this to be planted into a Cameron/Boris speech
No need. It's obvious
Are you old enough to vote?
