Live here then feel sad for them. Jumped up wankers with delusions of grandeur that turned into delusions of adequacy. I will quite happily piss on the turnstiles of that neolithic shit hole just before it gets bulldozed flat into Gaydamak's new car park. Hate the club, hate the fans, hate everything about them. "Sleeping giants" "Biggest club on the South Coast" "Best fans in the world". Do one, just f***ing do one.

Popular local club my f***ing ARSE.

Imagine that you are the Managing Director of a Company that supplies Portsmouth Football Club with, say, food. You know they are a 'popular local club' so you are a bit slack on collecting your invoices because you are a fan.

One thing leads to another and you end up being owed £20,000. Enough is enough and you start to press them for payment. After a load of letters and stuff you find yourself in the pot with all the other creditors and you are now bricking yourself about getting your £20,000.

Portsmouth then go into Administration and you are forced to accept 20p in the pound on your invoice - £4,000. This isn't enough to sort YOUR company out and you are forced to go out of business, laying off your staff and having to sell your house.

In the meantime, Portsmouth Football Club are still trading as if nothing has happened and lo and behold, announce that they have signed not one, but TWO players who will EACH be earning in a WEEK, what your company was owed.

Popular local club?

f*** RIGHT OFF

This.

From their official site...

Portsmouth Football Club is extremely disappointed to report that it has not yet managed to achieve the exit from Administration, despite the extensive efforts of the Football League, NewCo, the Administrators and their various legal advisors.

The process has been extremely complicated and there has been a team of people working night and day to get the deal done. The most difficult aspect has been trying to achieve agreement with Alexandre Gaydamak after the remaining parties have agreed the deal and executed the necessary documents, namely the new owners, the Administrators, the Football League and the creditors.

Unfortunately, despite the new owners fulfilling all the requirements of the Football League and the creditors, and agreeing and signing up to the required terms of the purchase of the club, at the 11th hour the goalposts have been moved by Mr Gaydamak and this has now made the deal impossible to complete.

Put simply, despite being offered full payment for the secured part of his debt in accordance with the financial plan approved by the Football League, this morning Mr Gaydamak has demanded a very significant upfront cash payment in order to allow the deal to proceed by releasing his security.

All this is in spite of his lawyers going to Paris this morning specifically for the purpose of witnessing his signature to the document agreed yesterday.

It is neither in the interests of the club nor its unsecured creditors for such a ransom payment to be made, particularly where the payment is being demanded by one of the authors of the club’s current circumstances.

In addition, and equally importantly, all of the business plans submitted and approved by the Football League would be fundamentally damaged by such a requirement placed on the club by Mr Gaydamak.

We will provide further information as soon as possible.

However, it appears likely that the club will now be closed down and liquidated by the Administrators as they are unable to support the continued trading of the club.

We would like to thank the Football League in particular for their support and assistance through this difficult process.

All other parties had managed to reach agreement.

This has now been undermined by the self-interested actions of one individual. Mr Gaydamak has provided confirmation several times that terms were agreed. However, he has continually changed his position in an attempt to exploit the goodwill of the other parties to the transaction.

By now doing this he has shown complete disregard for the supporters, the club and the City of Portsmouth.

His earlier comments when the club went into Administration about doing everything possible to save the club’s future do not appear to reflect his current actions.

Some of you lot have short memories on here. Not oo long ago you were asking other clubs for support to help get Falmer and save your Albion.
You struck lucky and Bloom stepped in but it could all change very quickly ,who would have believed when Pompey won the cup just a few years ago that this could happen.
I wish them well.

We were not stiffing local charities for their money. We were not driving local business to the wall. We were not paying players more than we could afford. We were not trying to hide money in foreign accounts. We were not rubbing our success in the faces of others whilst shitting on everyone around us.

f*** 'em. I hope they rot in the Wessex Blue Square Dog Turd League 48. Wankers.

Management? Shit.

Fans? Feel really bloody sorry for them. I cannot imagine what it would be like to ACTUALLY lose my football club.

f*** them as well. They can find something else to do on a Saturday. Going back to abusing the kids or beating the wives rather than dragging their knuckles to Farton Park I suppose. Gloating is one thing, they took it to a whole new level. f*** 'em. When they are the next rent-a-crying-mob on TV I will be pissing myself with laughter.

You might have been repatriated with your ground earlier if Portsmouth hadn't bought a secured place in the Premier League for so long and they had replaced you when you were relegated.

As said above, entirely different circumstances.

This.....I do feel a bit sorry for the fans if they do go bust (although I suspect they'll be able to follow them in some form or another) but this is far outweighed by my desire so see a club who cheated their way out of their debts get their comeuppance.

Err everybody, as we all knew more money was going out of the club, than coming in.
If they had won the Champions League, then it may well be a surprise, but in a financial comparision the FA cup is second rate and tin pot.

I feel sorry for the fans

To an extent, so do I. But on the other hand, can you remember any Pompey fans complaining when they won the FA Cup by buying players that they could never afford? Anybody with an ounce of common sense could have seen that the way the club was run was totally unsustainable, but they chose to ignore this.
