Nice club yeah but there's definitely a chance of a pretty fierce rivalry developing eventually if both keep being the main candidates for "best of the rest".
We had a fierce rivalry with them in the late 60s and early 70s trust me

2 very evenly matched sides in both games. We thankfully came out on top this season.
I think we are only 1 very good fullback away from being the better side most of the time though. I nearly said 2 but then remembered Ferdi.

Very enjoyable game to watch with a twitchy bum last 10..two teams playing the ‘right’ way..Bmuff exceptionally well drilled and quick but better chances definitely created by Seagulls..fantastic result.

Bournemouth are the best team seen at the Amex this season and we’ve played City and Arsenal here. Can’t remember the last time I felt really nervous in the closing stages of a match ! Felt it was a game of 2 halves where we could have easily been 3-0 up at half time if Mitoma’s 2 missed chances had gone in. But we were second best in the 2nd half but very grateful for Welbz’s well taken finish. That was a massive 3 points and more big games keep coming like this with Fulham, City and Villa being our next 3 league games. If we can pick up at least 6 points in those games then we really are in with a good shout of Europe, but equally we could easily be 10th or lower if we lose them - it’s that tight !

Game of two halves. A draw would of been a fair result. Fantastic win.

Although they wanted
Except he did give us a penalty with Pedro basically

Maybe and I thought in normal time that but the keeper rushed out and made a lot of contact so…

The point blank Bart save should never have been allowed to happen - their bloke pulled Baleba’s shirt and yanked him down - so obvious - you can see it clearly here - he also had no consistency like booking JP but not their bloke for a similar foul.

One thing is certain the next two home games won't be as entertaining as tonight. In stark contrast we will be up against the usual defensive killjoys who will be time wasting, and most of their players will either suffer career ending or head injuries to stop the game for as long as possible.

It was a nice change to see a Bournemouth team, that came to win by playing attacking football.
