have you lived in east preston all your life , genuine question ? if so, tell me honestly how you think you would feel if, over the space of 20 years, your local area received an influx of immigrants, of a different religion, which is intolerant of your own , however loosely you may follow it,a lot of whom speak no english and make no attempt to learn,who basically dont want to do anything other than create a little corner of whatever country they come from to the exclusion of the native populace, who end up in the majority, who receive preference in council housing over the native population if they have children, i know if i was married and wanted affordable social housing , i would be f***ing furious if someone who had been here 5 minutes jumped the queue just because they had children and i didnt, tell me how you think you'd really feel ?

Where is the evidence that most members of non-Christian religions are intolerant of C of E members or make no attempt to learn English or receive any privileges (rather than being assessed on need) in respect of Council housing? Sounds like a litany of allegations with zero actual evidence to back it up to me (and I am an HR Manager for the biggest social landlord in London).

what gets me wound up more than that is the fact people are not reassessed after they have got a council house. There are shit loads of people whos circumstances have changed ( fair enough) and they are now way better off than home owners. We all know people who live in a council home pay next to diddle rent and have bmws in the drive massive tvs etc........

It's true that none of the main parties speak up for or represent the white working class, Labour certainly don't. Have you thought of joining the Socialist Labour Party?
