Must admit he wasn't very good today along with his defence. When was the last time our goalkeeper actually saved a penalty
Cup tiedNeeds dropping I play rushworth next week
Great !!!Cup tied
You're not wrong. Bart's consistent errors seem to be going under the radar. Steel might not the better shot stopper but there's no doubt his distribution particularly under pressure is better. He should. Game after game he is costing us goals. We have to work for chance after chance to score and most games lately might as well start a goal down due to a Bart giveaway. A tragedy that Rushworth cant play next week as cup tied but id give him a league run out as it cant be worse.
Well, the first three were right in front of us - he didn’t stand a chance. Couldn’t see the others so well, but one was a pen!I think he could have (and a decent keeper would have) saved most of those today. Should keep the 'big teams' away for now
Ryan was better. Bart could still improve but we need to have other options now.He barely seems to save a shot at the moment. Pretty much every shot on target in the last month has gone in. He’s starting to remind me of Mat Ryan.
Ryan was awful….. I’m not even sure he was an improvement on Stockdale.Ryan was better. Bart could still improve but we need to have other options now.
He really wasn’t. Some people have re-written his history with us because they don’t like how it all ended with him.Ryan was awful….. I’m not even sure he was an improvement on Stockdale.
Not at all, frequently beaten from distance, rarely came for a cross, not great with his feet. Lots of errors where shots went through him….He really wasn’t. Some people have re-written his history with us because they don’t like how it all ended with him.
He played over 100 games, a fair few bigger clubs were looking at him one stage. Overall a good keeper, good with his hands and feet. Not at all, frequently beaten from distance, rarely came for a cross, not great with his feet. Lots of errors where shots went through him….
Sorry won’t agree on this, he was poor from the word go, errors in his first 3 games as I recall (including friendly)
He played over a 100 games, and at one stage a fair few top clubs were looking to sign him. He was good, one of our better keepers long term if we are taking feelings out of it.Not at all, frequently beaten from distance, rarely came for a cross, not great with his feet. He was miles better than calamity Sanchez. But yes we are probably both on the end of the more extreme spectrum of how good or bad he was. Most fans would probably be more in the middle of us on our opinion here.Which big clubs?
Arsenal as back-up.
Look at his career, he moves about because he’s not quite good enough.
It’s nothing to do with feelings, though clearly you like him. I’ve outlined his areas of weakness IMO. He did a job, but was nowhere near the level of Bart, Steele or even Sanchez.
Who he lost his place to….He was miles better than calamity Sanchez. But yes we are probably both on the end of the more extreme spectrum of how good or bad he was. Most fans would probably be more in the middle of us on our opinion here.
