Must admit he wasn't very good today along with his defence. When was the last time our goalkeeper actually saved a penalty

He should. Game after game he is costing us goals. We have to work for chance after chance to score and most games lately might as well start a goal down due to a Bart giveaway. A tragedy that Rushworth cant play next week as cup tied but id give him a league run out as it cant be worse.
You're not wrong. Bart's consistent errors seem to be going under the radar. Steel might not the better shot stopper but there's no doubt his distribution particularly under pressure is better.

He barely seems to save a shot at the moment. Pretty much every shot on target in the last month has gone in. He’s starting to remind me of Mat Ryan.

I think his confidence is shot and that he is not entirely sure how he is supposed to be playing (Much like the rest of the team).
A few games out of the firing line might help him moving forward.

Forest keeper is million levels above.

Really need a new goalkeeper, centre back and left back in the summer. And probably a DM.

Ryan was better. Bart could still improve but we need to have other options now.

Some harsh posts.

I’ve said previously, maybe on this thread, he’s a good but not great goalie currently.

He’s very young, and has made quite a few errors IMO this season, but it’s part of his learning. He has another 6-7 years of development.

If we’re mid-table with a few games to go, sure give Rushworth a few games, but at the moment play your best team which includes Bart.

He really wasn’t. Some people have re-written his history with us because they don’t like how it all ended with him.
Not at all, frequently beaten from distance, rarely came for a cross, not great with his feet. Lots of errors where shots went through him….

Sorry won’t agree on this, he was poor from the word go, errors in his first 3 games as I recall (including friendly)

He played over 100 games, a fair few bigger clubs were looking at him one stage. Overall a good keeper, good with his hands and feet.

He played over a 100 games, and at one stage a fair few top clubs were looking to sign him. He was good, one of our better keepers long term if we are taking feelings out of it.

Which big clubs?
Arsenal as back-up.
Look at his career, he moves about because he’s not quite good enough.

It’s nothing to do with feelings, though clearly you like him. I’ve outlined his areas of weakness IMO. He did a job, but was nowhere near the level of Bart, Steele or even Sanchez.

He was miles better than calamity Sanchez. But yes we are probably both on the end of the more extreme spectrum of how good or bad he was. Most fans would probably be more in the middle of us on our opinion here.
