I enjoyed mentioning this to my Ausiie colleagues today. I hardly even know what 20-20 cricket is:wink:

And for the record they took it very well and didn't mention the SA thing.

Are you in Sydney?

Because here in Melbourne and Victoria its all just AFL, AFL and more AFL.

Same goes for SA and WA.

Football rules over cricket for attendances and interest. It's just the way it is.

Considering that form of 'football' is nit played anywhere else and cricket is a worldwide game, says more about the Aussies IMHO

No i dont, i was enjoying the thread until one of your f***ing BORE contemporares decided to flaunt his right on credentials by bringing up the old ' casual racism ' chestnut on a thread about 20/20 cricket, why dont you get a life instead of trawling this board looking for opportunities to make spurious attacks on me , you cock.

Not true.

There are other football leagues around the world.

Only small at the moment but growing. There's a world cup of football held each year in Mellbourne with these nations national teams.

They (the AFL) are actually spending alot of money to develop a league in South Africa as it was once widely played there around the times of the Boer Wars.

And cricket isnt a world wide game.

Its a Commonwealth game.

Cricket - 4 continents and 2 world cups
AFL - 1 country and 0 World Cups.

Je reste, mon sac.
