At the General Election,vote Labour.

f*** OFF you complete TWAT... your grandfather didn't play for "the Seagulls" in the 1930s - he might have played for "Brighton" or "the Albion" -

are you sure you didn't sit in the North Stand watching Peter Ward and Bobby Horton...?

Moshe, I remember you when you were a mild mannered quiz master and stickler for rules. Now look at you! I'm so proud it brings a tear to my eye.

Tony Blair , remember him, things can only get better ,mandelson and kinnock dancing like a pair of total cocks on the balcony, the party and leader people like you greeted as a messiah, but now deny ever having supported him ?

it was an amazing time though bushy. liams swagger, louise weners sexy wide nostrils, mandelsons mostache, notting hill, no more nasty tory sleaze and a spirit of optimism, the years of tireless campaigning by ben elton and paul weller finally paying off.

How the f*** does his grandfather playing for the club qualify as a "spurious" family link ? As for him calling the club the seagulls ? So what if they werent known by that nickname then, they are now, your post is so nakedly influened by your own party politics it's rendered ridiculous.

Because if my grandfather played for Brighton, I'd know everything about him - I'd know his number of appearances, his debut and his last appearance. I'd also know club's nicknames. But then, I'm a Brighton fan. For someone to come on here claiming a family connection but not even know the decade in which that family member appeared for the club smacks of someone being told by the spin doctors to appear interested in football - that to me smacks of a spurious connection.

As for going on about my party politics, I can only assume you've been at the coke already.I belong to no party and support no party - I've voted for six different parties and an independent in the last 12 years, so I'm scarcely a partisan.

I would say the same thing to a naked bandwagon jumper whether he or she supported Labour, Liberal, Green or the Monster Raving Looney party.

Please. As chancers go, you're starting to take the piss.

I remember your cringeworthy appearance on the back of a lorry at the Lib Dem Conference march where you couldn't even bring yourself to support the stadium bid at Falmer, despite the crowd prompting you to do so.

If anyone on here who lives within the Lewes constituency wants to vote for you, that's their business and fair play to them, but please don't insult us to think you're hoping to win the seat on the back of a football-supporting mandate.

Oh, and we weren't 'The Seagulls' in the 1930s. But I'm sure that was an inadvertent slip that you already knew, wasn't it?

Is this you being all shouty in your role as fan's representative again. TLO? Cheers for that. Us tossers in the suburbs needed a voice of reason.

(By the way - it's a bit crap to pull him up on the Seagulls thing. How pretentious would it sound if he'd said his granddad had played for the Dolphins?)

It doesn't change the fact that Sugarman is a knobhead though.

Or those of us in the burbs who voted Tory are tossers.

Anyways, I'm saying nothing against the wonderful sexy, super lover and general all round good egg, Sugarman.

And I'm not saying that just because he's a high flying lawyer who could sue the arse off me if he chose to. I genuinely heard a bloke in the pub describe him as such the other day.

p.s. Jason - mine's a bottle of corona

I hope that as many Seagulls fans can help me unseat Norman Baker at the next General Election. I am Jason Sugarman the Conservative candidate and I would welcome any support you can give me. If you live in the constituency I would love to hear from you. My website is on Jason Sugarman

My grandfather played for the Seagulls in the 1930's his name was Jack Williams and my family have always been associated with trhe club. As a boy I used to live in Neville Road near the Goldstone Ground. Very happy days.

I always support the Seagulls and look forward to the new stadium being completed.

Best

What makes me laugh is that governments take credit for the booms but blame the busts on external factors.

I don't know - is it? Do I have a role as fans' representative? Blimey, you learn something new every day. Cheers for that.

Are you thinking that my use of 'us' refers to everyone?

No idea. Were we the Dolphins then?

In case you thought this was a party thing - it isn't. I would have had no issue with him but for that appearance at the Lib Dem march.

of course the unprecedented global economic downturn has impacted on the UK but do not confuse that with the old Tory cycle of boom and bust...
