These days, it's almost easier on here to work out whom that comparison doesn't fit.

Football and the internet have one thing in common: they attract people who feel inadequate in "normal" life and with normal social interaction. And they're the types who fit right in Nazi/BNP circles. Take a bow chaps.

You just stick to your stereotypes mate :lolol:

I guess the Irish conflict has died down a bit, after 30 years of attacks.

Hate to be pedantic but that long since ceased to have anything to do with religion, certainly not any sort of Holy War. Still you keep thinking that way, it does explain a few things.

Timothy McVeigh was one. There have been also been bomb and arson attacks on abortion clinics within the US and other countries which, if carried out by muslims, would certainly be classed as acts of terrorism.

Once again, factually quite wrong. McViegh was not a religious terrorist and the people who attack abortion clinics don't attack other religions pet se so once again neither can be considered religious terrorists.

Terrorists yes but they are a far smaller minority than the Fundermentalists of other creeds.

McVeigh acted from a warped view of religion, as do most others who carry out these kinds ot actions, and as I understood it he professed a christian faith which, once perverted by reading things like the Turner Diaries allowed him to justify his actions as an attack on the federal government. IMHO he acted from religious motives in the same way as those professing to be muslims do.

Well, if you have any understanding of the issues rather than rhetoric. Tell you what, ask Looney to guide you here, he's far more eloquent than I am.

Those professing to be muslims ? Oh I see, so the 9/11 attacks and the July 7 outrages were a bunch of atheists ?

Now that does explain a lot ! As far as McViegh is concerned I've seen what was left of that building in Oklahoma City which is slap bang in the middle of the Bible Belt, a very Christian area so its hard to see how the man thought he was carrying out his god's work.

I do have understanding of the issues. You categorically stated that you could not remember the last attack by a christian faction on the West, I merely pointed out that the Irish conflict is in the not too distant past.

Ps Your first sentence, doesn't make any sense.

So because the were 'muslim' then you accept that their description of their 'religion' is valid whereas because McVEigh was nominally christian you reject his view that he was. Basically you are anti what you see as muslim and are unwilling to listen to 'moderate' muslims.

Fine, at least we now know exactly where you are coming from.

They called themselves muslims, doesn't mean they were. I could call myself a small supernova, doesn't mean I am one though.

Fair point but they did grow up within the Muslim community.

And where am I coming from then ? Somewhere that has a better grip on the facts than you that's for certain. I suspect you're implying that I'm a racist, if you are you're very ignorant.

Did I reject the fact that McViegh was a Chrsitian of sorts ? Erm no, I merely pointed out what his act was about and just how, with your admittedly small mind decide that I reject the views of moderate muslims ? That's a case of putting two and two together and coming up with a figure which would rather shine a light on your obviously limited education.

Try dealing with facts and not supposition, you won't look quite as silly.

(Now awaits the abusive response, actually I couldn't give a toss about your opinions due to their fatuous nature).

Finally, some common sense, although as you say it will probably be seen as racist.

Having read this thread right through Icant decide if the original post was racist or ironic, though I have come to the conclusion that most of the replys come from those who for one reason or another consider themselves superior to the rest & therefore their opinions carry far more importance than everyone elses.
Ive seen everything here from blatant racism to politically correct bullying to newspaper snobbery, for fucks sake it was a throwaway post from tommorrows chip paper so why take everything so seriously?

and where are the left wing now and where are the BNP ?

When I was in the far right. I was never afraid of the so called hard men on the left. Personaly never had any problems paper selling or leafleting and we always wanted the left to turn up at a demo or else it would of been a bit boring :D

Well, last time I checked the Labour left controlled that little backwater called London through our glorious mayor :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Where are the BNP. They have 40-odd councillors scattered through Britain. Big f***ing deal :)
