262 fair weathered fans just on nsc who are STH. Of course theyā€™ll play the trains card or the poor health etc etc etc to make most of themselves feel better but they missed out. Great performance and attendance form the hardcore fans that didnā€™t think twice and went. There will be many bitter fairweatheršŸ¤¬fans own this thread alone šŸ¤£šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
Grow up man - people have their reasons for not going. Many have other things going on in their lives, financial reasons, young families, travel reasons etc. Football isn't the be all and end all. Why write such a twattish post after a great win that those watching at home enjoyed too?

I get about 2-3 days work per week and have to take it when it comes. If you want to pay my wages when kickoffs are inconveniently moved, Iā€™ll gladly go to every match.

People have a multitude of reasons for having to put other things first occasionally.

You donā€™t have to explain yourself to anyone least of all to self righteous fans.

It doesnā€™t bother me particularly but wanted to make the point. Enjoyed it regardless. Saw the first half live on TV and second half later at home. Would loved to have been there but hopefully next week will be equally impressive.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching the match at home, in the warm, drink in hand, comfortable with no pain. I think Iā€™m entitled to that after 64 years of supporting the Albion.

Well said. A few entitled fans on here who need to give their head a wobble. Criticising fellow fans who decided not to go. They must have very sad lives.

I reckon we can get Marc Boocurella to meltdown completely via a combination of crowd hostility and Veltman shithousery next Fridat night.

Which will be nice.
We should absolutely target him. He wonā€™t respond well. If you watch Mitomaā€™s goal, as the players all wheel away in celebration and he comes running out of the net crying, Georginio misses a golden opportunity to ā€˜accidentallyā€™ floor him as they collide, and kind politely skips past him. If only it had been Veltman in that position rather than the happiest man in football.

There was also that point in the second half when for one split second glorious moment I thought he was going to leather that clearance into his own net. That would have got me believing in God, had that have happened.

I was surprised by the number of STH regulars who sit around me that didnā€™t go last night. They have their reasons.
What was pleasing was that they were replaced by families and groups of youngsters who got stuck into Chelsea, made loads of noise, enjoyed a fantastic evening and will hopefully be back. I bet they rewatch it on Tv today.

Those STH may well have sat elsewhere.

Thereā€™s a great frame of Sanchez desperately looking back as Cucu slams the ball into the roof of the net for our second goal

If Iā€™ve one tiny disappointment from last night, it was the lack of a discernible ā€œCry in a minute, heā€™s gonna cry in a minuteā€ chant aimed at the wanker in the number 3 shirt.

Although I might have missed this due to stadium acoustics.

Yes, thereā€™s two hours of coverage on ITVX. I may even watch it again later.
