You wouldn’t have gone if the seat had stayed at the reduced price though. There aren't many people who have leave the purchase until the last minute and the idea is to encourage people not to do so.

as it turns out i couldn't make it for reasons outside of my control, but it was only confirmed a couyple of hours ago. I did be interested to see the stats on attendance v time of purchase. It's a moot point really. weather plus form plus time of kick off will see a quieter amex. we sold out v grimsby a couple years back.

I dislike home cup games I'd much rather be away, atmosphere is generally crap and there are so many people around who you've never normal sat/stood with. Looking at the amount of empty seats around me in the NS I feel a little sad and starting to think why have I bothered, there is certainly going to be zero help from the stands for the players.

I would like to apologise for my negativity, the atmosphere in the NS was probably better than normal which I was pleasantly surprised about, right from the start of the match

Agreed re the NS they were excellent tonight….the Chelsea support

Possibly the best atmosphere this season. Perhaps because a lot of moaners stayed away. I however have lost my voice from CHEERING THE TEAM ON. Imagine that.

Loved it. Sat in WSU for a change, nice tactical viewpoint but a bit too detached for me. Very pleased to stuff it up the Chelsea. Their fans were so poor……..

It was all about intensity, particularly second half. Funny that.

262 fair weathered fans just on nsc who are STH. Of course they’ll play the trains card or the poor health etc etc etc to make most of themselves feel better but they missed out. Great performance and attendance form the hardcore fans that didn’t think twice and went. There will be many bitter fairweatherfans own this thread alone
