I'm intrigued that the ticket website has been unavailable for so many hours today. This is happening a few hours after the club have seen how poor the sales having been going since being on sale for ST & Members guests.

Could jiggery pokery adjustments be happening to defragment which remaining seats are going to be made available?

In hindsight the club might be regretting opening the Upper West which no one ever sees on TV. If they had kept that shut they would have shown what looks like a full stadium with only about 25K tickets sold.

Especially with Chelsea at home in the league the next fixture in the calendar! Been screwed by the draw in more than one respect here.
Exactly. The crowd will be whatever it will be. If its not a sell out its fine, its not really a basis to start thinking about reducing the size of the Amex! Its a crap kick off time, against a team we are playing at almost an identical time SIX days later. Im going but if it goes to extra time I may not be able to get home except by a very expensive taxi. If people cant make this one its fine!

Around 400 in the queue at 22.30. Nothing seems to have changed, still about three quarters of each block seemingly unavailable in the East and West upper tiers (but some of those must be sold already)

The club have withdrawn the back few rows in the upper tiers.

With all the fair weather brigade not turning up should make the trains nice and easy. Who would have thought that making the ko 15 mins later than a normal evening game would cause such an uproar.
Its not that though is it. The 90 minute game will finish at about 9.55pm. If it goes to extra time and penalties then it'll all be done near to 11pm. Based on usual queues you may then not make it back to central Brighton on a train, or back to your car at the P&R until near enough midnight. Then people will have a further journey home from there. Meaning if this goes to extra time and penalties most people wont get home til 12.30am/1am or later. I live near to south london, so may not make my last train home, which will mean a very expensive cab. No chance people fancy doing that if they're bringing kids, or for many other reasons. So if people dont fancy this one then its absolutely fair enough.... Plus we're doing this exact game SIX days later!!

And it's on TV - for free.

(I'm going, mind)

I've done all bar 3 games home and away, including cups and pre-season friendlies (in England) this season and will be at Forest on Saturday, Southampton (and the rest of our aways once they go o sale).

I take both my kids and my dad to home games, and child 1 and I do the aways.

Even with the reduced prices, it's another £60 plus food and drink for me and the kids, and - frankly - for (a) Chelsea at (b) 8pm on Saturday night, when (c) it's on telly, and (d) I'd not get home until nearly midnight (without ET or pens)... I CANNOT BE ARSED.

I'd rather save the money for an away day.

Bad fan, apparently. 🤷‍♂️

Normal evening game on a Saturday?
How many 7.45 kick off games have we had on a Saturday?

One to miss for us. As a family of four STHs, it’s an extra £80 plus travel & food! I have got to draw the line somewhere. Like others, it’s a late kick-off too, especially as we’ll be in full voice a few days later. It’ll be a couple of bevvies in front of the telly box for me!

It's the possibility of extra time and penalties that makes this different .
Should that happen, there is only one train from Falmer, after the game that will get me back to London.

I'm hoping the game is settled in the 90 minutes.
If not, I will be having to make some choices whilst watching the game.
