I love Conspiracy theories...especially the Moon landings,it's funny that people always see things different.

Ah the moon landings on a lighter note

My thoughts on this are that if we didn't land on the moon the Russians would have known about it, and certainly wouldn't have kept that knowledge quiet.

Good effort with your Pentagon reasoning, and I thought the response to it was predictable as usual.

I had all the Tin Foil Hatters on ignore until this thread and it made me take them off to see what they were going on about, they are going back there.

Can I suggest everyone puts them on ignore, trying to debate with them is only making their mental stae worse.

Poor souls, lost.:(

Yeah I've had enough of this shit as well.

The following posters have demonstrated that their mental capacities are barely equilavent to that of a gnat that has been sent to a special gnat's school for dim and stupid gnats and have henceforth been placed on my ignore list......

Garlic and Herb Cheese-Glazed Sirloin and Orzo Salad with Fennel, Tomatoes and Oregano

Prep Time:
10 min

Cook Time:
15 min

Level:
Easy

Serves:
4 servings

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
4 boneless sirloin steaks
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 ounces garlic and herb soft cheese (recommended: Boursin)
1/4 cup vermouth
1 pound cooked orzo
1 fennel bulb, diced
1 cup diced fresh tomatoes
1/4 cup fresh chopped oregano leaves
1/4 cup sherry vinegar

Directions

Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steaks with salt and pepper and add to hot pan. Cook 3 to 5 minutes per side for medium. Remove steaks from pan and set aside. To the same pan, add cheese and vermouth. Simmer 2 minutes, until cheese melts and creates a sauce, scraping up any brown bits from the pan and incorporating them into the sauce. Spoon sauce over steaks just before serving.

To make the salad, in a large bowl, combine cooked orzo, fennel, tomatoes, oregano, vinegar, and remaining olive oil. Toss to combine and season, to taste, with salt and black pepper.

I have a really important question......

What the hell is "orzo"?

Isn't it a disease which effects your ability to be funny? Or is it something to do with mad sheep disease? What ever it is, it's not a laughing matter!

I don't think it's possible for anyone to do a timeline of events on 9/11 .

Really is there any point in doing any kind of timeline.. its well documented enough.

absolutely pathetic

and yes we all know why neither of you want to give your version of events on 9/11 because they would contradict each other......and that is the most obvious fact on here.......prove me wrong!I know you will not be able to.

i am done with these morons.

Yes,like... WW1 and WW2 nearly bankrupted us....that was great profit was'nt it.

Britain was indeed left destitute after WWII and we lost our empire as a direct consequence. But, as Conn Igguldsen wrote:

"after all, what's the point of having an empire unless you are prepared to use it? The British empire was dashed against Nazi Germany, the greatest Evil in modern history. A more worthwhile reason than that I cannot imagine"

The UK certainly suffered yes.. I was actually referring to the USA and not the UK when it comes to war profiteering..

World War I broke out in 1914 and it presented American companies with the ability to sell arms, munitions and other related goods to BOTH sides in the European conflict at extortionate prices. The main reason the US eventually entered WWI was to gain a seat at the inevitable peace negotiations where it could secure influence in future European politics and thus markets for it's newly acquired wealth plus have a rebuilding role.

WWII was very profitable most notably again for the USA. Russia came out well territorially. In the longer run both Germany and Japan matched the USA. Whats interesting is how the USA was involved with suppling Hitler from the 30s right up until the early 40s. The little people (us) will always suffer the most when it comes to conflict. The upper echelons (those with power and influence and 'breeding') will not suffer and will profit. This is the way of the world and Im rather surprised some dont realise it here.

"From a corporate point of view. Corporate America neither wanted Hitler to lose this war (WW2) nor to win it; instead they wanted this war to go on as long as possible. Henry Ford had initially refused to produce weapons for Great Britain, but now he changed his tune. According to his biographer, David Lanier Lewis, he "expressed the hope that neither the Allies nor the Axis would win [the war]," and he suggested that the US should supply both the Allies and the Axis powers with "the tools to keep on fighting until they both collapse." from http://globalresearch.ca/articles/PAU406A.html

I suspect your not inclined to read the following but its a good summary of more recent times and how the corporate structure working alongside politcal doctrine profits hugely from conflict. Heres the link.. http://gulfnews.com/opinions/columnists/profiting-from-the-iraq-war-1.118099

Your thoughts?

I know how we can end the 911 debate and how the towers collapsed once and for all.

Instead of using explainations from Richard Gage, Prof Jones and Dylan Avery, who profit from the 911 CT, or NIST, you use a reputable local structural engineers for a professional opion.

Hemsley Orrell Partnership, are a local structural engineer and they are connected with a local charity called Whoopsidaisy who provide services for children up to the age of 12 with physical disabilities such as cerebral palsy and other motor disorders.

I suggest that the three posters club together, contact HOP and offer a £100 to Whoopsadaisy. In return I am sure they will give you an unbiased qualified response to a question on how the towers really collapsed.

I will ONLY ever accept an explaination of the towers collapse from a local qualified profesional structural engineer.

Now put your money where your belief is, do your OWN research using first hand knowledge, and help a charity at the same time.

Until you do this, and whilst you believe these self promoting Yanks, you will never be proactive enough to ever find the truth.

Open your mind and open your wallet to charity so we can draw a line under this once and for all.

I think everyone will agree on this and for such a small investment to a great cause we will get 100% clarity on what happened.

I don't think you could argue with me on this point and until you bother going through the right channels any argument about a controlled demolition is null and void?

It will also save the time you have left in your lives promoting a complete fabrication of the event and that will be a £100 well spent.

As I said,Each to their own, but,The Pentagon was the US armour in defense, you don't take off some of your armour to go to war.
Are you really saying that no terrorist were involved and America attacked itself just to justify war if so,why was the WMD excuse used then.

Regards 9/11.. My gut feeling is that the USA knew what was being planned for 9/11 and decided to let it go ahead because it suited their purposes for the objectives that I suggested in an earlier posting. The CIA knew of and even filmed 2 of the terrorists in Los Angeles meeting a Saudi national. The CIA knew several were getting flying lessons in Miami and the terrorists were using their real names and credit cards all along. 9/11 was known about all along.. The FBI were kept out of the loop ironically by the CIA!

Now moving onto Iraq..

Bush could not inflict regime change without invading Iraq. Bush couldnt invade without a massive reason and that was given to him on a plate... 9/11. There never was any connection between Bin Laden and Hussein. Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Tenet etc lied about WMD. Afghanistan came first but was over within 6 weeks and of course with the help of the UK/USA the Northern Alliance defeated the Taliban but that was only ever going to be temporary.. I was actually there a few weeks after the fall of the Taliban and speaking to several people there they told me it was a temporary solution. They wanted peace but they knew back then that the Taliban would be back. Whats really interesting is that no one there thought it was all down to Bin Laden. They actually blamed Israel for 9/11!

Heres an excellent documentary about Iraq and the WMD fiasco. This is a mainstream film documentary with people giving interviews who were on the inside. The conclusion for me is that the Bush regime lied to get there way and to ultimately bring us to the point where the USA has changed our society for the worse.. Bush used the fear of chemical, biological and nuclear warfare to put fear into the world. This was done on the back of a relationship between Bin Laden and Hussein which as the film shows was never proved.

We now have a never ending conflict against an invisible and mostly fictitious group of individuals. Muslims and Islam has been demonised to the benefit of Israel.

Quote by Benjamin Netanyahu - "We are benefiting from one thing, and that is the attack on the Twin Towers and Pentagon, and the American struggle in Iraq," Ma'ariv quoted the former prime minister as saying. He reportedly added that these events "swung American public opinion in our favor."

Quite a lot of studies going on into the psychology of believers in conspiracy theories. Some revealing trust issues and the correlation between being able to believe something if it has originated from a distance ie 9/11 theories but not being able to believe something if it is nearer to your life, often resulting in difficulty forming and maintaining close personal relationships.

Studies show the perception by CT's of feeling out of control and the need to present themselves as having special insight or being more open minded than the average person can be quite legitimately compared to someone experiencing a manic episode. CT's can often consume vast quantities of information but more often than not do not fully understand or are not able to assimilate the information they are viweing (something they have in common with bi-polar sufferers). This invariably leads to mis-understanding or scan-reading of vital facts. The semi-assimilation of facts inevitably results in the subject "filling in the blanks" with half understood information from another, or several other sources. As you can imagine this can lead to nothing else but a rather confusing mass of non-information that has no structure or quantifiable conclusion.

There are several well defined links between the openess of conspiracy believers and low self esteem.CT's see openess as being open minded, a common misinterpretation that can lead to quite severe psychological trauma in believers of conspiracy theories. While in well adjusted indivduals openess is assimilated as a natural part of their lives. The well adjusted individual is able to maintain a level of openess while quite naturally being able to employ a healthy level of scepticism and judgment when dealing with interpersonal relationships or information disseminated from close friends or across unknowns on the internet or the media.
The conspiracy believer however, has trouble employing this judgment and will often come across as one type of individual to someone in person or whom they are close to while portraying an altogether different, more radical personality to those at a distance, ie internet forums or literature. The very opposite of openness. This dual representation of themselves is at once a manifestation of low self esteem and a cause of it.

Intriguing.
