Do you not meet many people Les?
I don't seem to meet many people who like my music. Even out of my mates who are into electronica only one likes BoC.
Do you not meet many people Les?
I expect not many people here are into Boards of Canada, in fact I haven't meet anyone yet who really liked them but I think they're genius.
A mate of mine went and said it was the biggest joke of a gig he has ever had the misfortune to attend.
She was an hour and a half late, you coul dbarely understand what she was singing, and she had to restart songs. All in a total shambles. He made a couple fo comments and people in the crowd told him to be quiet as it was "Amy" so therefore substandard performances are to be applauded.
Shes blatently ripping people off imo.
f***ing hate the over-rated druggy bitch. Personally thing radio stations should stop overplaying her warbling crap and ban her until she sorts herself out
One of my favouritest ever gigs was seeing MArk E Smith at the Assembly Rooms in Worthing. He arrived late, drunk took a swing at the bass player and ended up on the floor. End of gig.
A privilege to see such a sight. (Did anyone else go to that one?)
Didn't see that one, but did go to a Cramps gig in Brighton (Top Rank? ca.1986), where, about half an hour in, Lux Interior downed two bottles of red wine in 10 seconds, took all his clothes off, climbed atop one of the speaker stacks, then sat there for 20 minutes bashing himself in the testicles with a microphone until Poison Ivy and the others could talk him down again and lead him off stage...
Or there was the Teardrop Explodes at the Hammersmith Palais (ca 1982), when Julian Cope takes his shirt off, empties a jar of honey over his chest, and spends 20 minutes massaging himself...
I think your mates are a bit thick for not expecting that, the albums brilliant but its' pretty obvious she's a state at the mo
Great voice but songs are a bit samey. On the plus side, she's slim and completely fruit loop so I'd definitely give her one.
Yeah let's ban all music that's made by people with drink, drugs or depression problems. Alternate tracks by Cliff Richard and Westlife, yeah!
