I personally wouldn't go and see her again, not because I didn't enjoy myself but there is too much of a risk involved with her live.

I like to think others might do the same and she would get the message but Babyshambles seem to be doing OK at the moment!

My mate gave up a ticket to see Queens of the Stone Age at Brixton academy to go and watch that bollocks. I had his ticket for Brixton, they were quality. Did anyone see them at the Dome on friday?

I just don't get this "but she has a great voice" thing at all. Unless a horrible, grating, nasal whine/drawl is what passes as being "great" these days, she's a f***ing awful singer.

..and I thought I was feeling miserable at the moment. You're just a hoot at the moment aren't you?

Radio stations I question their blackness, they call themselves black but let's see if they play this Amy Winehouse shit.

It's all about the 'tude though, dude.
She did seem like an interesting alt-soul crooner at first, and every so often there'll be a bird with that crone vocal style who you'll think "what's this" and you sit up and take notice.

I know what you mean though, after that initial hearing, and a few bits about her general demeanor etc, I lost interest in buying her CD, or investing in another idiot 'celeb'.

Tried to make me buy her music
I said no no no.

I was there last night and didn't think her performance was as bad as people were expecting it to be after some of her recent aborted shows. It's true that a number of people did leave early, some before it even started, and I did feel sorry for a number of people who had to leave at 11pm to get their last trains and missed the final 30mins.

Whether you like her or not, it's this sort of contempt for her fans that will alienate her even more. I went to see something completely different from my usual bands (Arcasde Fire and the Foo's last weekend), but for all her faults I'm just grateful that the Centre didn't have a riot on it's hands due to the lateness of her arrival. When was the last gig at the Centre that finished at 11.35pm ?

Let's face it, how many people bought tickets to see a car crash anyway and just so that they could say they were there? £20 isn't a bad outlay in that respect, even if you don't get to hear any music.

Although people will loose their booking fee (which always winds me up that is a rant for another time!) at least they will know not to go to the venue now.

I'm sorry but I don't think it was that bad last night. I saw the Damned at the Concorde a few years back and they didn't get on stage until after 11!

Somewhere over there...
She has cancelled all of her concerts for the rest of the year.

Amy Winehouse scraps all concerts

Winehouse's current album Back to Black contains hits such as Rehab
Singer Amy Winehouse has called off all gigs and other public appearances for the remainder of 2007, after her doctor advised her to take complete rest.
The troubled performer was reportedly treated in rehab this year and UK fans booed her during one shambolic concert.

She had been due to play at the BIC in Bournemouth later and the Cardiff International Arena on Wednesday.

Gigs were also planned in December in Dublin, Belfast, Manchester and London, and all tickets will now be refunded.

A statement issued by concert promoter Live Nation blamed "the rigours involved in touring and the intense emotional strain that Amy has been under in recent weeks" for the decision.

My husband is everything to me and without him it's just not the same

"In the interests of her health and wellbeing, Amy has been ordered to take complete rest and deal with her health issues," the statement added.

A spokeswoman for the company said there were no plans to reschedule the concerts and fans should return their tickets to the outlet where they purchased them.

Winehouse, 24, was quoted as saying: "I can't give it my all on stage without my Blake. I'm so sorry but I don't want to do the shows half-heartedly; I love singing.

"My husband is everything to me and without him it's just not the same."

This was a reference to Blake Fielder-Civil, who has been remanded in custody until 18 January, accused of assaulting a pub landlord last June.

He also faces a charge of perverting the course of justice.

Critical acclaim

Winehouse's behaviour has been in the headlines throughout this year.

Last month she was fined after being found with cannabis in a hotel in the Norwegian city of Bergen.

The singer shot to fame after the release of her debut, Frank, in 2003
She called off a series of concerts and appearances after reportedly being treated for drug addiction.

The US leg of her tour in September was shelved while she continued to address problems with her health, and there had been hopes that this would be rearranged for 2008.

But the singer has also received critical acclaim for her current album Back to Black, containing hits such as Rehab and You Know I'm No Good.

This year she was named best female singer at the Brit Awards, and she received two prizes at the Music of Black Origin (Mobo) Awards in London.

What does this silly bitch deserve out of this? Some better singers struggle and lug themselves around every grotty beer joint to try and make ends meet. This one has had a carte-blanch open door to superstardom, celeb appearances and a big hoo-ha on the 'strength', really, of a couple of tunes about being a waster.
Now she thinks she can screw the fans, who will be seeing her for the first time, mostly.
The ugly skeleton can lay down in her own formaldehyde and disappear, for all she's done for music.

Existential performance tho innit? Buy the ticket, take the ride. The artist IS the music and tho it's all jolly nice for it to be pre-packaged and timetabled like clockwork, this is REAL life and a REAL person pretty far gone down the line to self-destruction. Buying a ticket for the AW tour is a cheap holiday in someone else's misery. Like somebody said up top, the people who went last night will be dining out on that story for years after the poor lost girl has OD'ed or topped herself and NME are cashing in on the dead Amy tee-shirts.

SO what should she do? do the gigs in a f***ed state, be late, etc,etc or cancel the tour and try and sort herself out? she's in a bit of lose-lose situation with some people
