i bet you stink of booze when you run out
Sod that, I wasn't a bad player 10 years ago. It's a mans game and if you try and foul someone you should expect some comeback if you cock it up like Van Persie did.

Adebayor incited a riot pure and simple.
i know what you're saying ,but infront of tv cameras
i bet Simster from Reigate will be green with envy when he has a look at that picture. The guy is a tosser.
And here's the proof.
The stamp is altogether different. From the first angle it look like he was just trying to put his foot down, from the second angle though there is a clear defined movement towards Van Persie which IMO is deserving of punishment (from the FA not the police obviously).

The most OTT statement on this thread amongst some serious competition.
Adebayor - The new Rodney King. More inflammatory than Poll Tax. All that by sliding on your knees.
To be fair, I thought the Ian Huntley, Hitler and Bin Laden comparisons had already got us well on the way.

This takes the debate to a new level of absurdity. Did I compare with anyone else ?. NO. I said his actions incited a riot and it did.
To bring in Rodney King and the Poll Tax has ratcheted this whole binfest to a new level. Well done.
How was the reaction to Glenn Murray pathetic and embarrassing?
I was there and thought it was justified, the player deliberately ignored fans applauding him at the end, fans that had up until then stuck by him even though he had handed a transfer request in.
That's the astounding thing. SOMEHOW that celebration is overshadowing the REAL issue which was stamping on a fellow human beings face. as I said previously, an inch more and it could have got him
in the eye with a stud. Not even worth bearing thought about. I know it's a what-if but it has to be considered.
Full agreement.Just as well you have never seen a rugby game then.
Adebayor was a bit twattish, but
1: It was former rape suspect van Persie, who had gone through the back of him.
2: The Arsenal fans have been giving him stick all summer, what do they expect him to do?
As said before Mark McCammon showed us lot of smartarses who had been giving us stick at Donny a couple of years ago how to go about it the proper way, and respect to him for it.
But Adebayor didn't kill or maim anyone, he slid on his KNEES on the PITCH to celebrate a goal. By all means give him a ban for the Van P incident, but I have seen far worse regularly.
