Just out of interest, has anyone ever paid 'bad money' to watch a match?

I expect someone's paid with a fake £20 at the Seagulls Shop at least once;)

Let's be honest, how many games have actually been entertaining this season? I'm struggling to think of many. I'm only renewing out of habit and the faint chance that we might actually see some good football next season.

But it was aimed at the team he was playing in. As already mentioned I wasnt there today so maybe Im a bit off the mark but from what Ive heard Adam played with 110% effort today and must have been royaly pissed off at losing. So to receive boo's albeit indirectly must have been the last straw.

I don't mean to sound dismissive of your opinion because you weren't there, but I really do think you needed to be in the South Stand today to fully appreciate the ferocity of his outburst and how it was just being aimed at EVERYONE! I've never seen anything like it.

I think I agree with your opinion of what you think happened, in that I also believe that a fan who is dishing out abuse should be able to take it in return. An individual standing by the dugout screaming obscentities cannot go all whiter than white if the object of his abuse fires back at him.

But today was very very different from that situation, which largely appears to be how you are understandably picturing the events. However, there was neither a vocal fan abusing Adam, and nor was his reaction aimed at anyone, When sections of the crowd booed at the final whistle he snapped and was shouting abuse at the WHOLE STAND. Not in a moment of furious reaction, but stood there for a number of seconds. He then walked down the side of the pitch, continuing the abuse at all in the South Stand. he wasn't directing it at just one individual, or even one section, he was moving along the whole stand and was telling us all that we are f***ing wankers.

I did nothing to deserve that from Adam, and feel rightly hacked off at him dishing that out to me. I don't boo, but I do dish out a bit of verbal to a player, just as i may have done to a teammate who's having a stinker. If I get a volley back then so be it, I'll take it. But when I'm there watching, and supporting the team I do NOT expect to see that from one of the players I'm supporting.

The guy was bang out of order, no two ways about it, and he needs to apologise and quick, or he will soon discover what it's really like to be on the wrong end of abuse from your own fans, because he's made one very big rod for his own back today, and needs all of Dick Knights famed PR skills to get himself out of it and quick.

Sorry, but aside from a couple of brief flurries, it WAS piss poor. And as for not scoring - thats pretty much the norm nowadays at Withdean, so surely its understandable that a lot of fans are getting macked off with the home performances. All we've done is "not score" in most of the bloody games.
bang on. it's f*cking sh*t. and has been for 3 seasons. i left at half time and i'm not ashamed. el abd can f*ck off

I asked Flinders how many shots he had to save, apart from the goal, and he said none, we hit the bar twice, we camped in their half in the first half, so how it was piss poor I dont know. If we had scored today everyone would have said how we pissed them, but unfortunately we lost, and we are gutted more than you lot believe me.

I thought we looked good for the first 20 mins, but it did fall away rather after that. There was a spell in the 2nd half after Revell came on where it picked up again, but the frustration is that we have seen so many home performances coming up short.

People are frustrated - as I keep hearing the players are too - but do the players really not understand the frustration we are feeling?

But this thread is all about Adam's reaction, which was quite simply bang out of order. If I'd been laying into him, then I'd take his reaction on the chin, fair dos. BUT it wasn't like that at all, and for all those who booed, there were at least as many of us NOT booing, but we ALL got the wanker signs, and the "f***ing ****s" treatment from Adam. No two ways about it, that's bang out of order.

An excellent description of what actually happened Gritty and that is exactly how I saw it. I dread to think what sort of abuse he will get at our next home game if he doesn’t apologise, even if he does I think he’s in for a rough ride.

If we had scored three goals today, I,m sorry, but never in a million years would I say we "pissed" them. It looked from the stands like a poor game from two poor sides. As for the players being more gutted than us "lot"......is that because of win bonuses or what...? Most players have never really experienced what supporting and watching your local team is like. I am sure you all want to do the best for the club and its supporters and I doubt it is often that any player gives less than 100%.But it can not be ignored that for quite some time now home performances have been grim, to put it mildly. I have watched, supported and paid to watch the Albion for the last 44 years. As supporters, we look to the players to live out our dreams. To have one of them call me a "F******g C**T at the end of the game, has made me realise that I will NEVER support a team again who regard me in this manner.

Bradford were fairly limited, as you'd expect from a team in the bottom three. And I'm sure the stats would show we had more possession and more shots than them. Did we deserve to lose the game ? On balance no, probably not. They got their chance and took it, but I think its stretching it to say we were camped in their half. No way could it have been described as a "battering".

I'm just calling it as I saw it. The passing was poor, there was a lack of creativity in the middle, we got nothing from Loft or Fraser, Bertin had about the poorest game I've seen him have for us, Robinson still looks desperately short of confidence. And for some reason, whenever we crossed to the far post, it was COX who was leaping to get on the end of it. Against a team thats been leaking goals all season, there was a distinct lack of clear-cut chances being created.

I'm sure the players are gutted as well. We're ALL pissed off together. All part of supporting the Albion though I suppose.

We had a good first 25 mins or so but fell away after they scored.

The 2 crossbar chances were virtually our only chances.

Sadly, the football going forward isn't entertaining to watch, and you can hardly blame the fans for being fed up after paying to watch yet another failure to win at home against a team we've already beaten who are struggling at the bottom?

Fair play though, at least you are making an argument with words, and not insulting us.:)

On the bright side, at least the fans now have a focus for their attention that has been missing since Wayne Henderson left.

I agree we were camped in their half but had very few direct shots on goal.

I believe that Bradford are probably the worst side that have played at Withdean this season and we lost.

The problem appears to be that Dean Wilkins and White do not know how to change things around when the original plan isn't working.

I don't f***ing think so!

I respect you as a player, but that is bollocks.

A lot of us have been supporting this team for decades and some of the dire crap that has been served up in the last few games at home has been disgraceful.

And to top it off, one of our team who is meant to be a professional has been abusive towards the fans.
