I bloody hope not.

He contributed to my worst experience at the Amex.

He is yes a good player, but he doesn't care or show any passion for the shirt he is wearing.

I do not want him to be strolling around the Amex ever again like he has done nothing wrong.

Is he better than Barnes? Probably not over the course of a season, so he's not worth even considering.

Stay at palace and keep quiet Murray!

Shame on you if u want him bk in the blue and white!

Wouldn't mind him back, but only as a replacement for CMS or Hoskins, as 2nd/3rd/4th striker.

He is not good enough to be the main striker we are surely looking for, and if he was signed as such, I would be very underwhelmed.

By scoring, something which we could do with at the moment

If he's a good player, what does it matter that he doesn't rant and rave? All players and people are different.

He moved to another team that offered him more money. He's from Cumbria, he doesn't have anything against Palace. In his eye's he has done nothing wrong

Very different players who worked very well together in the League 1 winning season

I don't think he's been shouting, even when he scored.

Shame on me then.

Needless to say, I'd take him back.

If he did come back, I'd feel a lot better about wearing the shirts I have with Murray 17 on the back of them.

Doesn't matter where he's from, if u move to a club, it's important to have a relationship with the fans and respect the club, history and team u play for and with. He doesn't and never has.

IF we wer gona go up, he's not good enough for that level, what's the point in causing in rest over a player for a year who is no better than what we've got.

He's greedy, arrogant, average player at this level. So my passion for my club, over rides all his playing ability I'm afraid.

Funnily enough, while I agree it was a thoroughly miserable experience and worst not only at the Amex but for a very long time, I don't hold Murray mainly responsible.

In fact (hard though it is to imagine) it could have been even worse if he had started larging it after his goal. I booed him throughout just on principle, but he conducted himself well on the evening. I'm sure he only realised that night what he'd done.

But players aren't fans. Very few players really 'get' the supporters and what it means to play for a club. The Shearer's, G.Neville's, Gary Hart's are the exceptions, not the rule. Glenn Murray had been at 5/6 before us and played only 4 seasons. He's a northern lad and to him Crystal Palace mean nothing. They offered him more money, he's got a family, he went and played for them. Not for one second do I think it was a dig at our supporters.

Whether or not he's a good enough player is another debate all together. I think in our team he would do pretty well but at the moment I guess we'll never know so no-one is ever gonna be proved right.

Would love him back.

He was a massive part of promotion from league 1 once over his injuries. Didn't work hard? Anyone who thinks that obviously did not watch that season, worked his arse off every time was on the pitch. You're having a go at him for scoring against us? Yes it was painful, yet after the abuse he got for 90 mins could have rubbed our noses in it but showed real class and didn't even celebrate.

I doubt it'll happen anyway, but I certainly wouldn't complain.

Vicente does not appear to have any attachment with the fans or club, but we all love him ?

Granted he did give the North Stand a clap last night after his song before a corner yesterday.
