Somebody told me we get THREE points for that win yesterday. Can anybody confirm that this is correct?

34 points looks very much like the survival target this year. IF we beat Fulham.

One of Fulham's games in hand is against Burnley and they both can't win it.

The other is against Man Utd on Wednesday.

On top of the world
IF we continue to play like we did against Man C and Leeds we'll stay up comfortably. But, we are Brighton so it's unlikely to be that simple. Buckle up!

Completely agree, it’s clear that those muppets don’t understand football or take football seriously. They are an embarrassment to our fan base. It’s the same for the jokers who are still backing Potter. Clueless springs to mind.

The jokers that were backing potter are laughing now. Are you man enough to admit you were wrong?

Not laughing now are we pet?

Actually I’m not. Brighton more than deserved their wins against the Reds and Spurs.
If only we had played like that more often we would have been fighting at the other end of the table.
Let’s hope it continues, onwards and upwards.

But we did play like that - we have been all season (mostly).

The goal against Liverpool was classic Brighton - liquid football (thanks AZ & AP) up until the finish and then almost messed it up.

A Liverpool supporting friend of mine called it a "spawny goal" and whilst he was wrong, after a wonderful passing move and a brilliant cutback from BDB, two unmarked Albion players with an open goal in front of them came very close to messing it up - our season in a nutshell (apart from the failure to miss).

....and if you watch Trossard's goal against Spurs,.. it wasn't a clean hit, not clinical after great approach play, but of course they all count.

We haven't played like this all season. We might not be scoring more goals but we are conceding less. We also have less possession than we have done in the past. It might be subtle but we are playing slightly different.

Probably working!
Someone on here recently mentioned a former Albion player calling Potter an "academy manager". On reflection I think this is spot on. Academy teams are all about instilling systems and philosophies, and developing youngsters. Results aren't so important. If you look at Potter's impact since arriving I find it hard to disagree with the notion of him being an "academy manager" rather than a first team manager.

Do you still think this?
