Mohammad Amir to Morgan, OUT, 85.2 mph, GONE! Another goes, what a collapse this is from England and what a spell from Amir. Full on off stump, more late swing finds the outside edge of Morgan's bat and it flies low to second slip where Hameed holds a sharp, low catch
EJG Morgan c Yasir Hameed b Mohammad Amir 0 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR: 0.00

It would appear these are ideal bowling conditions, and it was a great toss to win.

There's no shame getting out to a good ball, but WTF is Pietersen playing at?? Win, lose or draw this test the Aussies have got plenty of scope to exploit weaknesses.

I think the ECB should reconsider the test itinerary and refrain from having 4 tests against Bangladesh in such close proximity - it's totally distorted the picture.

Unless Morgan gets a ton in the 2nd innings you have to think he's played Bell into the side for the 1st Test.

If Pakistan could bat, we'd have lost this series. Their bowling attack is quality, and Amir must be the best young bowler seen anywhere for years. Right from the start of the Tests he has been superb. Surely the Aussies' bowling attack won't be any better.

The Pakistan attack certainly has looked good in these conditions, which we must remember have been VERY helpful.

maybe ricky's claims of another whitewash were ridiculed a little too early

Nah, the Pakistan attack is about the best in world cricket at the moment AND bowling in helpful conditions. Australia's is nowhere near as good, they have decent batting but the bowling is probably worse than England's.

This is the reason I love test cricket. In one day cricket there's no opportunity like this for a batsman to show bulldog spirit and spend hours at the crease digging his side out of a hole.

Right now Amir and Asif are resembling Wasim and Waqar. The conditions mean a result is likely but we have good bowlers too.

1,000 test runs up for Trott, in just 13 tests.

great bowling this morning in very helpful conditions with one shit shot that got out....yes stand up KP!

Not saying we we're unlucky or anything but you have to give credit where credit is due, time for Matty to shine once again and save Englands arse!
