Been watching, Trott seems to be the only one who can see the ball moving.
As i said earlier Amir is taking us apart - really is impressive bowling from him.

Having said that - we have been shit too.

Trott's also played by far the most country of the team in the last couple of years. And he generally doesn't seem to care much about his strike-rate or hitting boundaries

Michael Vaughan doesn't half talk out of his arse sometimes.

''Matt Prior and Jonathan Trott haven't had that much county cricket but are playing nicely."

Pietersen hasn't played county cricket in FOUR YEARS. Prior has scored buckets of runs in county cricket this season, and Trott has only been in the side for a year and will still play for his county. He needs to shut up, it's clear the England players need time at the wicket.

Off to tea at 185/7 that is a bit of an improvement, hopefully we can post a total of at least 250, then get into them this evening.

Commentators on TMS reckon that a total of 230-250 would be really good considering the pitch and conditions, guess it is one of those matches where every run really will count.

I wouldn't be so sure... unless we get them in tonight and kill off the top order, pronto!

It's going to be sunny for the next three days.

Which means the pitch will probably dry out further, the outfield quicken and make it better for faster bowlers and scoring runs...you are right about getting into the top order tonight, if the light holds long enough!

That'll be the way. The last England wickets will fall. Pakistan will come out for an over then take the offer of bad light.
