I think it's been a fairly typical window, but one that feels more pressured by results being a bit squiffy and people thinking that the squad needs more investment. The fact is that this window is seeing a higher demand from some sections of fans, further disconnected from the club's repeatedly stated policy of not doing much, if any, business in January.Very strange window so far with only today left. Barco not coming back, Enciso, Moder and possibly Ferguson/McConville out on loan. Cashin seems a good deal and £20m on a striker we won't see till next year coming in. Definitely has the feel of smaller/weaker squad given the impossibly long injury list when we still have a possible european place to go for if we can get it together.
Barco is an odd one, sure, but Enciso is demanding first team football without earning it with his performances, Moder had 6 months left on his deal, Ferguson needs game time and may not get it here and McConville is in the same boat.
Add to that, the window is still open and we're likely to spend £30m this window on Cashin and Tzimas.
None of this is directed at you specifically, @nevergoagain , just a wider point
