I assume you have inside information on this @jackalbion ?

Because, on Friday January 17, Duffus posted on social media "Back soon", and was then named as a sub (and came on to play) against Wealdstone on Tuesday January 21. So, to this uninformed observer, it seems he has been out injured and is now back in action.

Can you just clarify that you have solid inside info please?
Its speculation, and there should have been a question mark at the end, I'm asking the question, but if he has been injured I'll accept that, but there has been a lot of speculation about his contract situation and it is a bit puzzling, with a few top clubs interested. He was noticeably absent again from the 21s on Sunday. Not everyone else has the time to monitor the under 21s' Instagram stories.

The voice of reason. I would be surprised if any of the Big 6/7 clubs want an injury prone defender that can be a little slow to track back tbh - despite some great improvements in his game recently and his attacking prowess.

A mid-table transfer is nearer the level imo but then why leave Brighton for another mid-table club when he has a history of support and security as @Hugo Rune says? He has a manager who obviously likes to use him, likes his versatility and lets him progress the ball high up the pitch to satisfy his natural desire to ’follow through’?

Thanks for clarifying you were speculating, and happy to provide you with some factual information. (y)

You seem to be very angry at the moment about things that are total speculation. Just chill out and see what actually transpires, then if at the end of the window if all these scenarios you've raised (from speculation) come about, send an email to Barber and Bloom to register your fury at how the club is being run.

I’m not angry 😂, I’m just discussing it.

Everything being discussed here today (especially) is very valid.
I’m absolutely staggered there’s even the slightest talk of us selling Ferguson. I’m hoping it’s media noise and the only option to other teams is a loan.

You and me both
Leverkusen still on the table - would prefer him be sold to a Bundesliga club than see him banging in goals in the PL week in week out tbh

I’m guessing if a strong bid comes in for Evan the club may sell him even if they can’t bring in a direct replacement this window. We have enough points not to worry about relegation so maybe we will wait to strengthen in the summer in the striker position where we may get a better deal.
