Rumour is that BHA are interested in Harvey Elliot for £35m, LFC prepared to let him go.
We knew and have commented at length.Rumour is that BHA are interested in Harvey Elliot for £35m, LFC prepared to let him go.
Come now.So we are going to sign loads of players we don’t need. In positions we’re overstocked in or positions Fab doesn’t use.
When actually we could spend big on Tomori and it would sort most of our problems out.
Yeah, excellent fit except imo we really don’t need another attacking midfielder/come inverted right winger having spent £200m in the summer including on players in that position.Rumour is that BHA are interested in Harvey Elliot for £35m, LFC prepared to let him go.
No idea about his family, well liked in the squad good team player. Well respected. We knew and have commented at length.
The room is divided.
Do you happen to know if he is a massive knob with a Terry-style chav family, as alleged, or not?
Better than anything we currently have at Brighton with top tier potential for the next ten years. Hopefully wherever he goes the Reds have a buyback clause.Yeah, excellent fit except we really don’t need another attacking midfielder/come inverted right winger having spent £200m in the summer including on players in that position.
Minteh will be supremely good by the end of the season, Buonanotte will be back in the team hopefully, Georginio is showing great potential as a 10, we still have Pedro when fit, and O’Riley who could still impress. Hinshelwood can also play as right FB, March is fit and we also have Osman and AC-Durberry out on loan.
If we were thinking of spending anything like £40m this window, it will either be a deep defender (or less likely but possible another no 9) as attractive as Elliot is.
We’ve known for a while and this was a topic of discussion with our group to and from Norwich on Saturday. It’s not a position we’re exactly lacking in depth in. On the other hand he may be better than any of our current options. So, for me, it does come down to price, wages and whether he does come with some baggage that would fail a basic NDP.Rumour is that BHA are interested in Harvey Elliot for £35m, LFC prepared to let him go.
I agree but I will be surprised if TB forks out £35-40m in a January transfer when we don’t currently need that position covered to get us through the rest of the seasonBetter than anything we currently have at Brighton with top tier potential for the next ten years. A huge claim given the performances/potential of Ayari, Goodnight and Hinsh.Better than anything we currently have at Brighton with top tier potential for the next ten years. Hopefully wherever he goes the Reds have a buyback clause.
I make the claim based on the fact that he has slotted into Liverpool’s first team without missing a step. He is already doing it with one of the best teams in the world (atm) and still has massive potential.A huge claim given the performances/potential of Ayari, Goodnight and Hinsh.
Costa has already turned us down. Some Italian media reporting that Juve have submitted a higher bid for Costa

although player may demand a higher wage than Juve is prepared to pay ( allegedly Sporting still in the picture).
Good luck to him. Hasn't gone the way he would have liked here since moving from Reading - limited appearances for the U21/U23s, and hardly got a look-in on loan at Fleetwood last season. Hope he gets more action than our current loanees in Scotland this season have been getting! One down (technically from the u21s) - Imari Samuels permanent move to Dundee.
