Dean Wilkins never signed Mcfaul - Knight did the deal behind his back
You dont really know that do you.

Dean Wilkins never signed Mcfaul - Knight did the deal behind his back
He did. He also Signed Glenn Murray without consulting Wilkins. The first thing Wilkins knew about Murray is joining us, was when Knight introduced him at training. You dont really know that do you.
How do you know that?....
The answer is that you bloody well don't. So have a f***ing day off.
I think one of the clue's is, that the club stated that he (Wikins) failed to get on with the new signings.
This could be that Wilkins never knew or wanted them in the first place.
12 years ago, a man living upto his surname, a Knight in shining armour (see what I done there) rescued this club from oblivion. He united everyone, and put the Albion on the map.
Now the same man is unfortunately living up to his first name... DICK. Because that is what he has become. A total Dick, and whereas before when he United the club and fans, he is now tearing it apart.
Because of this mans ego, he sacked one of the games most promising young managers, and replaced him with a man who has done nothing in the game for years now. This is not me talking with hindsight, I said this would happen when he sacked Wilkins in the summer, and brought back the has been that is Micky Adams. The fact we are in the position we are in, is no surprise to me whatsoever.
I think people have got to drag themselves out of the past. Yes he saved the club, someone else probably would have if he hadn't, but lets be fair he has to take credit for that.
But that was a long time ago. What he has done in the past 10 months as been nothing short of scandalous, and if it wasn't for what he done in the past, Dick Knight would have been hounded out of this club a long time ago. He as removed a promising manager , in very a unpleasant way, a man who looked like pushing on this year and has put us in the position we are in now.
I think a lot of people on here have got to accept, this man is years past his sell by date, and one of his last actions at this club is to get us relegated to the basement division for only the third time in our history.
Make no mistake, we are going down. We can all pretend its not going to happen, and the squads to good, but the results speak for themselves.
Thanks for the memories Dick.
Shut the door on your way out.
He did. He also Signed Glenn Murray without consulting Wilkins. The first thing Wilkins knew about Murray is joining us, was when Knight introduced him at training.
He also sold Dean Hammond against Wilkins wishes, which had a lot to do with the argument that hurt Dicks ego and eventually lead to Wilknis downfall. You can believe it was man management skills or dropping gates if you thats what you want to hear.
As, I've said before, I have contacts at the heart of the club, and find out a lot about what goes on, which is why I told you all Micky Adams was going by Mutal Consent if he didn't walk, 5 days before it was announced.
I'm not against Dick Knight because of our league position. I'm against him for what he has become. He treats managers like shit, which is why he is struggling to appoint someone now. You f*** over McGhee, Taylor, Wilkins, Adams, and bullshit Coppell, in the end you are going to struggle to find people who will take the risk and work with you.
THis is the position we are finding ourseleves in now. That and most managers want control over the players they sign, something Dick Knight has never allowed his managers.
Or maybe they didn't turn out to be the characters or type of players that Wilkins hoped? Maybe HE made an error of judgement and not DK?
Equally as plausible in my view.
I wouldn't want him to go totally.Nice witch hunt Mr.Burns.You have made some very good points however Dick Knight deserves to see the Albion run out at Falmer.
I wouldn't want him to go totally.
For what he's done for us in the past, he deserves to be involved in the club for the rest of his life, I would never want to deney him that, and would love to see him there on the first day at Falmer, but I think as chairman, the past few years, and in particular the total balls up he has made of it this season, he needs to step aside for the good of the club.
Just remember that knight offered Wilkins a three year extension to his contract which he accepted. Can't have thought he was that bad a manager then
Wilkins agrees new Seagulls deal
Wilkins was appointed full-time manager in September
Brighton manager Dean Wilkins has agreed a three-year deal with chairman Dick Knight.
Wilkins' current contract expires in June and Knight told the club's official website: "This gives both Dean and the club some stability.
"He and I will now begin planning for to mount a serious challenge to get back to the Championship."
Wilkins added: "I'm extremely proud and my passion and desire to make our club successful remains as strong as ever."
You dont really know that do you.
